bookexp 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 (edited) GMail is a new mail system offered by Google. You can find it at: https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/ interesting thing is that GMail is not open to the general public and you may only access it via a subscription to their website by mobile phone. However there are people that give out invitations. You can also access the service through these. Notice from jlhaslip: Since this was turning into a gmail invite topic, I moved it here. mackygood 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 I think they're only available to a few countries. I tried it but I couldn't because you need a mobile phone number inside the U.S. The signup requires a mobile phone within the supported countries. This drastically reduces spam from Gmail, as no one would go through so much trouble for spamming. This is the signup page: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Valid Countries Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Phlippines, Thailand, Turkey, U.S. But you can always ask a friend to register one or recieve the invitation code for you. Sprnknwn 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 I?m confused about this topic. Is it just too old? Everybody have Gmail nowadays and I?ve never heard that thing of a mobile phone message and valid countries. And the weird thing is that the post seem to be started today...
