those are estimates, and they are not entirely new, especially now that it is already 2006. :D and those estimates have been floated around the internet as early as 2004, calculations of which have been based on a paper about the Google Cluster. by assumption, as google requirements grow every single day, their hardware equipments would increase... and yet they remain the same by your figures until this time! :Dhardly believable that you were on google grounds and they mouthed these statistics to you, because in the first place, these figures didn't come from them. but if ever you were, and i am proven wrong, then it's my bad. :D
