LiveForHer 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 I use Paint Shop Pro 8 and Paint Shop Pro 9 myself, and they serve my graphic needs really well.I mostly create fan fiction banners for Harry Potter Fan Fiction and Fiction Central via this site, The Dark Arts. The Dark Arts is a graphics community which make forum graphics, fan fiction banners, etc.I'm getting Adobe Photoshop CS for Christmas [which I can't wait for, yay!], and then I'll be using both. I find PSP easier now, but friends of mine who use Photoshop say that it's easy to use. Let's wait and see ...I use all kinds of blending methods for my work, like masks and freehand selection. Plus the good ol' brushes and gradients and flood fills help too. What about you guys?Best,Xuan.
fusionx 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 I use fireworks but i havent used paint shop pro so i dont really know about it's features and so on. But i have used Corel Paint/photo which i find quite similar to fireworks but a tiny bit better because of it's features. But fireworks seems to do the job and im quite happy with its performance and it's features. The only real benefit of using it is because of it's ability to work with dreamweaver 8 and flash 8, cause ive been doing alot of flash buttons and banners lately. The top three i rekon would be:PhotoshopCorel StudiosFireworks
Tyssen 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 For web design I use a combination of Fireworks, Photoshop & CorelDraw. Although I wouldn't really recommend using CorelDraw - it's just what we have at work and I've kinda got used to it. It still sux though.
