Winners of the 17th Miss Model of the World pageant pose for photos yesterday. Catherine Hamzeh from Lebanon was crowned winner while Lin Chien-an from Taiwan was named runner-up, and Elena Tihdmirova from Bulgaria second runner-up. The 2005 International (Shenzhen) Tourism and Culture Festival closed yesterday with the pageant final concluding at the Window of the World theme park.

Gahh my aunt said I could of been a future candidate for miss hong kong if I weren't so short AND that even ugly people like me could win it. And I was like.. oh thanks. haha. I've grown fatter and shorter since then.. pfft.Most of the Miss [iNPUT COUNTRY]... win not only because of looks but because of talent as well.. (I think)

It's obvious that they judged based on rather than just on looks. She's pretty, but she's hardly drop-dead gorgeous.
