Comparison Speed- Centrino To Pentium 4

Just wondering how the speeds compared. How powerful is a Centrino say 1.6GHZ to a Pentium 4-3.0GHZ??

It would depend on whether the Centrino was a Core 2 Duo. otherwise I would say that the Pentium would be the faster of the two.

Also it depends on what you are doing, it would be faster to play World Of Warcraft on the pentium 4, because it has higher clock speeds, and WoW is a more CPU intensive game then GPU, but for other things, the centrino might be better, such as multi tasking.
