moldboy 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 When I go to a website and enter informaiton in a form my borwser saves this information, this also happens on my site. Now because I didn't do anything special I assume all my visitors have the same functionality, that is remember what they typed on a previous visit. Is there a way using some sort of language in my site to repress the browser wanthing to remember filled in form information?
mayank 2 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 well are you talking about the feature which is called AUTO COMPLETE....if you are talking about that only then i am afraid there is no such of supressing the browser's wish of remembering the form information...it is a feature which is basically a wish of the user...if the users allow to do so then browser will do it and vice-versa
beeseven 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 Whether or not the browser uses Auto-Complete is dependent on the settings. There isn't a way to change the settings of the viewer's browser.
Cain 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 Well, I think browser is different and like previous people said, it's not possible to activate or deactivate the auto complete of other people's browsers, but you can deactivate your own. Here's a link to a quick guide if you have Internet Explorer, otherwise you can seach Google if you have a different browser.http://csharpcomputing.com
