Only to realize later that there are manyBasic flaws in its design and operation. Its menu operation is not as friendly.Well forget about all this high end stuff. Just note this basic flaw and youWill understand that even a FOOL must not buy a Samsung Mobile ! "When you connect the charger for charging the phone,There is absolutely NOTHING I repeat NOTHING appearing on the screen/display toIndicate charging event." It takes years to get charged by a single point.And only when a point in battery status gets added after hours of charging, youCan actually make out that the charging is actually taking place. In other words, imagine that you are on a small trip out ofStation and you are plugging the charger to an electrical socket at someUn-familiar place. You wait for one or two hours. Even then no improvement inBattery status. You are not knowing whether charging is really happening orNot. Even you will not be able to make out if your phone charging socket hasGot some damage OR your charger got damaged OR there is loose-contact (whichNormally happens at any connections) OR the electrical socket is faulty ORThere is no electrical supply in the electrical socket etc. Etc. Finally youEnd-up with plenty of doubts and tensions and the beauty is that you wastedYour precious few hours at some useless place without charging your phone andReaching peak of your frustration. Samsung had the tradition of changing its mobile chargerPort design with each model so unlike any other branded company you cannot justAsk somebody that you have a Samsung charger?. You will be forced to ask do youHave the charger of Samsung model BD 1234 with you? And most interesting thingIs that you will find it really very difficult to find another FOOL matchingYour level. You will never get it elsewhere. Even check with their customerService center or show room. The WILL NOT HAVE in stock. All that they will sayIs " Sir we will request to our main office and it should come within 10Days." It means you live 10 days without using mobile. Such a useless andDisgusting proposition. If such a trivial matter of charging status display is notTaken care of, then what good can u expect from a Samsung Mobile. Even the mostNon-branded and cheapest handsets do have this basic function and showNotification/status whenever we connect a charger, charging progresses andDisconnect the charger. eddygalvin 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2010 Hello, most mobile phones are not 99% efficient, some with thier cons and pros, there are some great products like nokia, sonyerricson, motorolla, and so on. sagem is one of the least products i have ever come across, with bluetooth and a memory card but it does not receive applications, it has a short battery life. It comes with an ancient web browser and selects web pages to display. i dont see reasons buying a sagem phone even with thier latest versions. Avoid them!
