Frank in Sense 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 How to peform due diligence on e-currency investments. I went to the site listed above by Simon Minister. Looking through the courses, I note the following statement: "We represent the equivalent of ... A fully functional crash course in Market-Making for the DXInOne system, including a very busy audio training schedule at our sister site for those that are interested." Market Makers engage in very risky business. VERY risky. Below is the definition a market maker, and using the term "equivalent" doesn't mean a thing. It's an official term, not to be toyed with or used to apply to anything but the official definition: "A market maker is a person or a firm which quotes a buy and sell price in a financial instrument or commodity hoping to make a profit on the turn or the spread (i.e. the difference) between the buying and selling price." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_maker If you do not understand even a small part of the above definition, you should not be engaging in any such activity. Please understand that Market Making requires a substantial amount of money to survive the huge losses that come with the gains. Please ask yourself: is e-currency a financial instrument or a commodity? Research each term. I think you will discover that it is neither. Don't be lazy, consider how long it took you to obtain the money you are investing, and what it would take to replace it. Clue - you can never replace money you've lost. You can only go out and make more, but that money is actually an addition on what you would have had without the loss. There is still a void where the lost money used to reside in your account. There are no guarantees on any investment. It is against the law in the United States to promise or promote guarantees of return on investment: "Past performance is not indicative of future performance." See the Investment Company Act of 1940. But besides that, think this one through - there is no such thing as investment insurance for investors. An investor is never insured because it is financially impossible to invest without losses. It. is. financially. impossible. to. invest. without. losses. Call any licensed and bonded brokerage house. Call Ted Turner. Call Donald Trump. FYI, full disclosure is a requirement of any business promoting an investment. So far, the registrar of every site I've seen has been cloaked behind a proxy. The name, address, and phone number of the site owners is anybody's guess. This raises another question - who is regulating your investment? What is your recourse? Exactly where is your money going and what is it doing once it gets there? Where are the company's independently verifiable financial statements? Search the phrase "market maker" and read recognized, authoritative sites only, not sites that are promoting e-currency investment. Perform your own independent research, as any wise investor does. Research e-money and e-currency, find out exactly how it's supposed to be used, where it comes from, where it goes. Here is an excellent place to start: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Dynamic-Xchange 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Thank you for your extensive due dilligence but the term Market-Maker has a different meaning within the Online Currency arena as we don't buy and sell while hoping to make a profit. It is nothing like that as we provide what basically equates to an exchange service for people who want to move between one e-curreny to another via out intermediate currency, that being DXG.This is also not an investment but rather postioning yourself within a network of exchangers through which you process the exchanges waiting for you, no buying or selling, just processing. You do not require a substantial amount of money to cover losses as losses are never made. All currency exchanges are postiive transactions as we get paid commission for processing the trade. As I mentioned, the term Market-Maker is completly different to the description you have given so I suggest reading the explanation of what a Market-Maker is within our industry and this can be found on the website. But I appreciate your post as alot of people due fail to research things so it is always welcome. When people do take up your advice and search for e-currency and the like, they might want to search for DXInOne aswell as that is the network we train people to use.Best Regards,Simon. Alice Crane 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 (edited) DXinone is having problems. Here is part of a post from DX4D. You may read this thread free at DX4D. DXinone has changed some of their structure and has caused many of their members to lose money. They have upped their fees. To get the whole picture you would need to read the forum. Their are 300 post to this thread. It definitely turned me off DXInone. Re: DXSupport Thread re: fees Hey Berta, Thanks,,.. You have made my day. Actually I had started writing to DX but realized that I would probaby need 3-5-who-knows-how-many threads. So in the end, I decided I did not want to waste my time waiting for yet another DXSpin. Take out the venting and maybe I could get it done in one. No, two. But I just call a spade a spade; DX has taken away my diplomacy for the time being. I don't have the personality to swallow hollow platitudes or getting the runaround like so many have in the past. (I'm an investment advisor myself, remember? Er, uh, I mean a dealer, remember? 12 years of talking with people. Thousands and thousands of people.) , even damned Sad to say but if I were not in DX today, and just started to investigate the possibility today, I would not investigate a day considering all the reaction people get from DX if reading this forum is any indicator of how DX has run the business and has treated their members. It is absolutely unfathomable to me how they are handling this business. Way beyond my poor intellectual capability. Way beyond. Dynamic-Xchange 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Article ID: 135 - DXSystem Update News Article Details Article ID: 135 Article Date: Monday March 12th 2007 6:03:00 PM (UTC +11:00) Article Publication: Public Article Title: DXSystem Update News Article Content As we move further in the production stage of the DXSystem we are able to provide you with more insight into the opening up of the system to the Internet world. We have often mentioned that the exchange and account areas of the DXSystem were only a small part of the overall system being developed. Up until this time the exchange and account values had been held in combination with the DXUsers, DXMerchants and GDT in the payment services provided for exchanging values in the accounts. GDT's role has always been to monitor the security and hold all record activities. Obviously this has been at arms reach that presented difficulties keeping the flow of incoming and outgoing between the payment service accounts. This will now change with the introduction of a number of worldwide payment services that will operate under a central controlling company. Global Digital Transfers has gained years of experience and data relating to the world payment systems and the way the global community interacts across the Internet and is now ready to step up with what has been a long awaited release. With the advanced monitoring and security that GDT has been developed over the last several years during development it can now be applied to the power the new payment services. The controlling reserves will be the world's first e-currency that will operate with government approval and guidance, which is a significant step for the global e-commerce to operate seamlessly in the way the digital world, should. GDT has developed services that have proven consistently that security is of the highest priority and which can be monitored in complex environments with a number of levels of participants. One role that will continue to be a part of this expansion is the role of the DXMerchant Network. The DXMerchants have been under utilized during the last weeks while unknowingly waiting for the final pieces of the puzzle to be approved but this will now open up to provide a workload that will take in the Internet at large rather than limited to the service they have been operating with until now. Over the next week we will be introducing the first of the new payment services and e-currencies that will form a large part of the industry. We will keep you updated! Details of individual transactions, symbol representations and inclusive information will not be made public. demonatashadow 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 Hi,I have been involved with DXInOne for almost two years now and in that time it has become my full-time job and profession as I now teach people from around the world how to establish themselves in the DXSystem. It is definitly worth taking a serious look at as in thise two years, starting with little, I have amassed a $500,000+ DXPortfolio and I have not said that to impress you, but to impress upon you the serious heights you can achieve within this business. The DXSystem and vision is going to be massive, that is why some people find it difficult to get their heads around it, and therefore dismiss it or try diswade others from getting involved as they are afraid of missing out if their friends ect do make a go of it.The DXSystem does have a steep learning curve and due to it's dynamic, ever changing nature, some find it hard to keep up with this curve within a free forum such as DX4Dummies. As good as it is, it is difficult to keep up with a thread that has 20 people posting in it at the same time, thats what I tended to find anyway, thats why I opted for a course where everything was laid out in clear, concise chapters and the information updates where automatic, keeping in pace with the evolving DXSystem. I hear what the other poster is saying, who doesn't want free information, but you get what you pay for at the end of the day, forex traders spend thousands on courses to learn their trade properly, even thought there are hundreds of free sites around, but they opt for a course for the reason I mentioned above. If you want some general information about the different areas of the DXSystem you would be initially working with, take a look at some free tutorials as I have tried to organise the information in an easier format then DXInOne currently have it as the site is confusing to a newcomer.Best Regards,Simon. Notice from snlildude87: Removed referral link. Wow thats a lot of money!!! So how does this work?? Does it teach you which companies to look for and invest in??
