I tried combining some bits and this is what i came up with (i myself love the blue-dotted things (border, navigation(buttons+arrows)))

Wow. The revised layout is awesome!!

 

This one does not use tables for layout, so that's a plus. I also like the banner at the top. Very nice and not that distracting. I also like the scroll bars. Then, I thought your content was inside a frame. It's not, so that's good.

 

I'd kill the statement at the bottom about Firefox and the resolution. It just seems cliche to have that.

mabie try a skining system. It's pretty easy. All you do is this:

say this is a header:

<img=yoursite.com/banner.gif>welcome</img>

and this is your footer:

<img=yoursite.com/footer.gif></img>

in PHP, you can include a content page. In this example, you are at the home page.

<?phpif$theme=1thenecho"<img=yoursite.com/themes/theme1/header.gif>welcome!</img>"include http://ww38.yoursite.com/content/index.htmecho& theme=2etc...

so this /content/index.html is the home page content.

it's kinda tough to do, but it's easy and you'll get great results, try looking it up some time.

I like Layout one. It seems really clean and nice looking. It would be cool if you set the size of the part that has the text and used that scrolling thing from Layout three.

i think that layout number 2, cuz it looks really professional and clean. but ehy you got english language on some layouts and some other language on number 2 ?

I like layout two the best; very bold, but professional looking. I do like the layout of number three, but the color scheme is rather bland. You might consider modifying it to the red and gold of the second layout, I really like that color scheme.

You forgot the most important part - cookies. Without cookies, the layout will be reset to the default one as soon as the user leaves the page.

Template number three is very nice in my eyes, everything fits each other well and stuff, but I think the copyright line is too small...Layout number two is nice too, only I think the copyright thing (again) should be centered, and the banner of the english page is in dutch.

Template 1 gives a "can't be bothered" feeling..Template 2 still acceptable..Template 3 looks professional..Template 4 looks like a childs play..

None of them... just kidding. I would go for layout one simply because it is simple, fast loading and eyes-friendly meaning userfriendly. Even though many people have access to broadband but loading time of any website remains a big issue. Therefore, website must be simple and fast loading at first. However, one cannot compromise everything just because he wants fast loading site. Looks and desings also are important. In this case the first one would have won the race. Others contain much images and it took a while to open up the pages. The third one, I suppose this looks like msn dot com layout type - the kind of website I least liked, atleast according to my taste and flavour. The second choice will be the second layout but i wouldn't let the main background (content background) remain as black. It just don't match, but the overall layout is good, minor changes can be made easily, specially the color combinations.

Granted, I'm still kinda new here and I am not sure how many times you have created different templates for your website and asked opinions on it. But I couldn't imagine why it would really matter what everyone else thinks... It's your site, right? After all is said and done, you are really the one left to make the decision. You just had more input into which one pleased the majority more. I say if you don't like your own design, scrap it! Getting suggestions for improvement is great, but asking what you should use as a template for your own website is a little fruitless. Don't ya think? Later A

I like layout 3 best and layout 2 2nd best. Layout 3 is more graphic-ey and I dont realy like the colors of layout 2 as much. If its a graphic company than the site should have a real fancy layout. Both are good though.

The first layout just seemed a bit boring to me.The second layou was my favorit the graphics are cool esp since is a web design site.The other two designs arnt too great, and i mean that as just looks i am not in any way a codies expert; i am a totaly n00b
