Hate google ads. i think it's very strict interm of keywords that you can use. Also they check your ads quite regularly and if you don't comply with all the RULES they laid down your ads is inactivated (and you have to pay to reacticate it if it continues to happen three times.their percentage count is mean too!

Hey, what do you mean you have to pay to get it reactivated? I had my account deactivated and have never known about reactivation issues... I had to make another account with a family member's name...

CAn you please explain how I can reactivate my original account? I had some balance there... but how much will I have to pay to get it reactivated? Your answer will be very useful...

Thank you in advance

How do you install or put these Pay Per <- snipped -> on your website? Also, How many visitors or clicks would it take for like Adhearse to pay for a website per month? I think that would be the best option but you would need a lot of visitors wouldnt you? Please someone tell me how many visitors I would need and also how to put them on my site :P}

When you sign up to one of the pay per click advertisers (as a publisher), they will give you the code to place in your webpage. Usually, it is javascript code. You just copy and paste it into wherever you want the ads to appear. I don't know how much Adhearus pays but it is probably like around $0.05 a click (Google pays more). Every site is different but if you get a 1% click thru rate (CTR), that means if the ad is displayed 100 times, you get 1 click (or about $0.05). The ad displays are called impressions. So how many visitors do you need? Well, usually those advertisers don't send you any money until you reach a minimum of $25 (it is different for every company). To get $25 dollars on $0.05 a click, that would mean you need 500 clicks. And, if you only get 1 click for every 100 ad impressions that means you have to display the ad 50,000 times. If each visitor looks at 5 ads, that would mean you need 10,000 visitors.

it's not really that bad. that number of visitors is assuming many things. Like a 1% CTR. Many sites are able to get 5% or even above 10%. It all depends on your site. So, if you get 5% CTR.. then your 10000 visitors goes down to 2000.

Also, I was just assuming an average of $0.05 per click for Adhearus (which I am not a member of). there are higher rates. I would go with Google, as they probably have the highest payouts. I have heard from some people who get over $1 a click. It all depends on the keywords for your site.

Finally, if you don't make the minimum payout, they roll over to next month and just keep adding up until you make it. So, even if it takes you a year to get $25, it will still be enough to pay for your hosting and domain name with money left over. http://computing-web-hosting.com/ $10 a year and http://www.domainsarefree.com/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t for $4 domain.

10,000 visitors over a year isn't a lot... the best way to find out how much you will get is simply to try it out and see cause all sites are different.

Also, if you choose Google Adsense.. DO NOT CLICK YOUR OWN ADS. They will cancel you and not pay at all.

how much traffic are you getting for the $30 a month? I think that would be useful information for the original poster. I am using Adsense and I am getting a decent amount (>$30) for my low traffic siteI'm not allowed to talk about what I make specifically though, it is against the google TOS.

You missed a good one out, AdBrite.com Very good, have made about $30 this month, there are alot od 'spin offs' of this site... be careful!

Yeah, I did check AdBrite recently...

What with the spin-offs? Do you mean the adult content? They have even tied up with AVM and it may become worse. But you have the option to allow the display of only 'good & clean' ads.

I did not know that initially and had allowed intermediate adult content - like viagra... gambling...

My family life was affected because of this, you know :P . There was an adult ad on my site and it was XXX! One of my family members even demanded that I take down my site and forget entirely about the project!!! :D

But now it is ok, I have allowed only clean ads, and so far, there is no problem!

ARE THERE ANY OTHER SPIN-OFFs? It is very important for me to know... hope you understand! Thanks in advance...

googlue: By spin-offs, i mean sites that look the same as adbrite but are using a different name, the site looks exactly the same, and operates the same too, buy them you buy ad space on a site, the system just takes your money...

King-Squad: you dont have to pay anything, not of you are selling ads :P

you eaern money from people clicking network ads, and you can sell ad space too, I have sold about 7 ad spaces so far, some of the are like subscriptions.

Here are my profile thingys for my sites at adbrite:

Sponk Industries

Toxic Sims

the olny reaseon people buy them is because I sell them so cheap for so long.. I done this so that I would get into the 'cheap clicks' area.. and itb worked! :D
