grrlfromoz 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2004 by Bill Shatner! Doh. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/It was in the newspaper that they were filming, and mom's a fan, so we drove down to Riverside to check it out. They interviewed us for the "making of DVD" but apparantly we're going to be on TV now. I just don't know how to feel about that.
dundun2007 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2004 Whats bad about being on tv? I wouldnt mind being on tv sometime. I guess it matters what your going on tv about, and how shy you are when you in front of a camera and knowing that millions of people are watching you. grrlfromoz 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2004 They're reporting on it at MSN now too. I feel there's nothing bad about being on tv, if you know you're going to be on tv, you know what I mean? I guess millions of people watching me gush sort of freaks me out. They're going to make us Iowa folk out to be such duh-heads. Don't get me wrong, we are yokels lol I just don't think it'll help our image much http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv

Everybody there was, of course, a Star Trek fan. Er I guess they could have just been from the town, but everybody I talked to was all weeee it's captain kirk!! All the interviews I saw were about how exciting it was to meet him and how unusual the california people are compared to us (course they were all acting over the top anyway). In reply to Bexa, I sorta had a feeling we'd be on tv that day. Don't know how, just sorta suspected, so I wore sparkly earrings.
