mtonline 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 My compaq computer sucks and is slow with windows xp. I might get an alienware computer. By next month.
CrashCore 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Sweet; Alienware is always the number one choice. You should buy me one too. Then I'd be your best friend.
gunbound 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 I once looked into Alienware, but decided not to get it because it was so expensive. Since then, I have encountered one in the computer lab of my university, belonging to the guy who does computer repairs. I asked him about it and he said it sucks. I believe him. candicej 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2005 You could build a better computer for less money than you'd spend on alienware. That way, your computer would be built exactly to your ideal specs. Good luck either way!
jsb 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 Why did you buy a Compaq, they suck. Anyway, put Windows 2000 Pro or Linux Mandrake on it if it's so slow.
Odyssey 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 I would prefer to custom build my own computer instead of buying it from any company. Reason being is because then I can easily upgrade a computer with parts from a computer store, unlike Dell, which uses custom hardware
