Mr Self Destruct 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2004 Hey, my online website and portfolio design has been online and running for a couple of months now. The site is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. The reason why I came to Xisto was because I needed a hosting account for another one of my projects.I have been web designing for a while, although I only got really serious into web design at the start of this year. Please visit my site, and give me some feedback/constructive criticism. Also, rate out of 10.Thankyou.

Mr Self Destruct 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2004 Thanks very much. I've had a few comments that I should add more images, so I'll be doing that sometime soon.My coding is alright to me, but the site was made a couple of months ago, so my coding habits now are much different to the initial coding I did a few months ago.Thanks. Kovi 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2004 Wow. You have created a very nice looking, apparently very fuctional site. both the design site and the blog look very professional. Love the color scheme. On the contrary, I think that the amount of color you have and the amount of graphics are great, but we'll see what you do with it when you add them.9.5 out of 10The biggest problem I have is how, when you hover over the sidebar links in your design site, the cursor changes to be a pointer accompanied by the question mark (at least in XP Home). Personally, I Htink it would be better if you left it the defaut pointing hand (like you have for the sub-catergories), or, if you want something different from that, just a plain cursor, though that may be a bit confusing to some.On the whole, though, you have created two very good sites. I much admire your web design capabilies.
Bash 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2004 wow, i love that site, it looks awesome. the only problem with me is that it takes a bit long to load the images
Mr Self Destruct 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2004 Thanks guys.@Kovi: When I get some spare time from my other projects, I'm planning on going through and "redo" some aspects of the site.@Bash: I've tried my hardest to optimise the graphics without comprimising image detail, and what you see now is a result. I'm on dailup, and it's not that bad for me to download.

Mr Self Destruct 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2004 now what i really like about your website is the color combination. Everything about the color and the general arrangement of your site realy trips me a lot. where did you learn to design such a cute website? Ā it is great pal. I give it a 10 Thanks very much. Since the start of the year I've been learning everything myself from looking at code and tutorials and just working heaps at perfecting what I do.Ā But ever since I got Photoshop 7, my graphics were so much better. I used to use CorelDRAW, but that just didn't cut it. Ā Thanks again.

I'll keep you all posted when it's out.

I'll keep you all posted when it's out. I have also gotten a bunch of photoshop tutorials, but to tell you the truth, I havent really taken much of my time to study those. I have made a few attempts in the past but i didnt go far. My bad...My problem is that I am putting much of my interest and time into designing websites for people in order to get some money. That isnt a bad thing to do, I believe but i aint putting more of my time into learning graphics designing and I will really start doing that.
Mr Self Destruct 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2004 Yeah, I just find that I enjoy web designing as a hobby right now instead of "a job". I just like doing projects as I always seem to learn something new everyday, so I've got to keep it up,
