iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 The X-Files was a very good show. It reminds me of little as it was so out on it's own. The only programme I could compare it to is probably The Outer Limits and even then; it was a collection of stories rather than a series all relating to one particular matter. I personally loved it, I think I first seen it on BBC 2 one night; it was the episode "Ice" about the Research Station up in the North with the meteorite and the little alien worms that crawled inside you. I was gobsmacked. I was instantly hooked by the really interesting and almost compelling storylines and characters that they created. I would love to start collecting all the episodes on DVD but at the minute I don't have the money and other DVD's are infront of it. However it would be great to get them all. I think I've seen every episode although I'm sure that there is bound to be one that I have missed. I love the film as well. I thought that they took the X-Files to the big screen without actually tainting the storyline like I imagined they would but it was done so in tune with the series that I honestly believe that the film could have just as easily been done as an episode or two. Happily I think they are in the process of making a second film although nothing has been released yet on http://www.imdb.com/. But it might change soon.
