Recommended Posts

wait, I need help... now i can access my new domain but the problem is i can only access it if i use http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and not http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Does http://www.mydomain.com/ not let you use 'www'?

probably something wrong on the side from where you bought the URL... just go onto there site and tell them about it they should change it instantly... and you may have to wait 3 or 4 hours... it happened to me before

Hi:

My situation and question is similar...so I figured I would post here rather than start a new thread.  I own my own domain name.  I have it cloaaked and going to my current host (free space provided by my ISP).  Now I want to point it at the Xisto.

Where do I do that?  Do I do that from the Cpanel on Xisto?  Or do I do that on the site that is currently cloaking my domain (the company I registered with).

Thanks for all your help. :o

The site that is currently cloaking your domain is where you go to change the name servers to Xisto's name servers (ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.com) :D

It should work if you have the name servers pointed to ns1.trap17.com and also to ns2.trap17.com and the domain parked... If it doesn't, post a request for your main domain changed for ten credits.Or you can try PM'ing NilsC or Opaque...

Yes, you did everything perfectly. And it probably won't take the whole 2 days, mine was relocated from my previous host after an hour or two.
