Here's a few quick hacks/registry changes that will help you improve the terribly bloated and mind-numbing thing we call XPand hopefully I'll got some good credits out of this to. This tutorial is VERY detailed so it should be easy to follow and sorry if there is spelling mistakes. MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY BEFORE YOU TRY ANY OF THESE. Now when explorer crashes you don't take everything else with it. Handy!4.) Kill Window Sounds: Aight, here's the truth.. everyone but you thinks you windows sound scheme is anoying as hell!! There I said it, don't blame me! I'm just the messenger! Go disable windows sounds to get a rediculously easy performance boost(especially during startup) and also save us the psychiatric fees at the same time.5.) Icons: If you have loads of icons on your desktop, I suggest maybe sorting them into folders or putting them in a folder and adding it to a popout menu at the side of the screen. Tests show that as little as 15 icons on the dtop slows boot time and dtop refresh by 20% and 40% respectively!

well i like mac its a really good operating system but it wont run on my hardrive lol i can only put xp on it (stupid cluster). and in all my attempts to put Mac on my drive failed but i geuss over the time that i have had Xp on my computer i have grown to love it for some of its features and other parts but lol i still LOVE LUNIX.....alittle off topic sorry

I love my kav it detects every thing even the viruses and trojans i make myself witch i test to see if kav detects. but the biggest part that i love about the new kav that i got is i host all of there programs and because im using there beta its totally free. I think that KAV is the best and it doesnt really slow my machine down but thats probly because im running 1 gid ram but anyways Nod 32 is good and it is light wieght but Kav antvirus detects more because NOD doesnt detect some of the Trojans that i make but it sucks to say that KAV does

I buy a new mother board battery every month then i cllean my computer room lol I call it the dust free zone because if theres dust in there i clean it right away i was the walls of the room and vacum out my PC also i spay cleaner in my disk drive and floppy drive and on all the cables to make sure they stay clean so ya i pamper my computer and its really a good idea to spray electronic claner in your dsk drive and on all the cables just try not to get it to leak on ur mother board lol

why dont you just buy a cell phone modem for a 100 and then hook it up to yuor cell then get wireless internet were ever you are so if you have a laptop use that with your mdem and you have the internet

I started out in FT but i moved to dream weaver to find that i could make alot better webpages with better graphics than in FT. Dream weaver would edit some of the files html tags but when i would try and edit it in FT it wouldnt let me. so i now just stick with DW. also lol it must be really complicated to make a website win Note pad. of coasre you have ultimate control but it takes hours to get everything right and to do the HTML. lol i just dont have the patients for that glad that some ppl do.

The same thing happened to me all the defragmentor dos is reconnect links and parchal files i could be that yuo have a file in your system files that is still there but there is no links to it and becuase defragementor doe not delete files it will coninue to show red. really i wouldnt worry about it its nothing much just harddrive space taken and i dont think there is a program to fix stuff like that but try scan disk it may detect something

AMD proccerors are faster they get better performance and have a higher stabibility rate. my oppinoin is yes change to an amd especially if yuo are running game and stuff like that. Intel proccesors are ment to run word doc and windows files not to run games and orther high graphic apps. so in my opinoin id change <----sorry for the spelling mistakes
