I'm not sure which i prefer. KaZaA has a good interface, but has ad's. WinMX is a very simple looking non-ad program. and LimeWire has both no ad's, nice interface but runs really slow on my computer. It probably isn't the program, more likely to be my computer.

My High School has a couple of Computer Classes, but none are really any help. Computer Graphics and Design is a class in which you use Corel Draw to creat graphics. Digital Art and Design uses Macromedia. and that's about all. A new class has been introduced called independant study in which you can choose absolutly anything you want to do. I chose Web programming and so did a friend. so that's the only way we are able to learn anything usefull with computers. other people in that class chose other things that didn't have anything to do with computers so it isn't really a computer class either.

This is quite incorrect. Just because the majority of people have bad aftermath, doesn't mean that everybody does. I'm still friends with one of my Ex's. all we did was work out what went wrong, forgot that anything ever happened, and stayed as friends.

These are a couple of my Favourite Straegic Games. I suggest you get them if you can. RCT shouldn't be that hard to get but the others are almost a decade old. Roller Coaster Tycoon Become a tycoon of a theme park by building a theme park from scratch and meeting the objectives before the alotted time runs out! Total Annihilation A 7 year old game, but still as good as any war strategy game. You have one commander, and he has to build up an air force, army, ship fleet, hovercraft and seaplane force to destroy the enemies. Norse by Norsewest You have three characters in each level with their own advantages, you have to put their advantages together to get the items to get them across to the next level. Napster is Back! I was in a chat room and a user called Napsters came on and said "Napster is back! Get a premium Napster account" or something similiar to that. i thought that they would never be back. unless they turned napster into a p2p program. What do you think about this anouncement?

In response to that "child father testomonial" don't you think maybe the father had more experience in using a Game maker than what the child did? And he probably understood the languages in both programs more than the child did.

I reccomend Total Annihilation - you can get it on ebay for $10 or something like that. I'm pretty sure thats with both expansion packs. TA is War strategy, you've got foot-soldiers, aircraft, ships and hovercraft to coose from, gameplay is good. It's about 7-8 years old now. but i'm still playing it! you have to build up your civilisation and military status, then blow everyone up with a missile. heaps of people still play using clients. if you get this and want to play on the net, download the pheonix project.

Yesterday i downloaded and installed Game Editor 1.2.9 it's pretty much the same, but has great tutorials, better game demos and is free (for 30 days). It could do with some more Actors (sprites, images). if you want to get it go to http://game-editor.com/Main_Page

Total Annihilation is an old school war strategy game. It's set in the future. Two robot clans are warring all the time. TA is abut 7-8 years old yet people still develop mods and play over the net. You start off with a single commander and he builds K-bot labs and airfields and he has to keep the energy and metal up, otherwise he build anything else. your mission is to destroy the enemy. You can have up to three computer players, either being your allay or your enemy. It's a really cool game, so if you can get your hands on it, i recomend you buy it.

I went to a friends Forum Only site, in which he had a tutorials thread, and i was bored enugh to go through them and one was HTML. that tutorial was really dodge. only told you how to make a HTML page, write text, and change font and background colour. That was about two years ago. now i know a lot of CSS, HTML, a bit of ASP and am starting C++.

Game Maker 5 (not sure wether they have updated it yet), is one of the worst programs ever made. You can make any sort of 2D game, it comes with three game (Pacman, 1945, and Street Race) they games are good and you can add in your own cheats if you want. you don't do any of the scripting yourself. all you do is pick a sprite (picture) set it as an object and give it commands (if i press this button, this object does this, etc.) Sure it's easy enough to use, but if you ask anyone who does C/C++ programing they will tell you that it's Sh*t. It also deosn't come with many help functions.

Su-do-ku, the game in the newspapers. the aim of the game is to fill all the boxes and not break the rules. You have a grid like this the rules are as follows: you can only have the numbers 1-9 in all rows, all columns and all boxes (hence the reason why some lines are bold). You can't double up in any of the boxes, rows or columns. If anybody knows where i can get a program that generats these, tat would be really cool. Please don't divirt me to a place to download sudoku.xls. P.s. i want a freeware version.

I uploaded a whole heap of files one named index.html, i expected my homepage to automatically set itself to the index.html page, but i guess not. It would be a great help if someone could tell me how to change my default page to the index.html page.

For i project i am doing in my spare time, i was wondering if anyone had an ASP login script. It needs to have a Database, register page, profile page, spare page and log in page. If anyone could help that would be great, if not thanks anyway. By the way if it makes any difference i only need to be able to register about ten members. What i need Log in page: Simple text and password input boxes. with submit button. Register page: Input for Name, username, and password. Database: columns are: -Username -Password -Name -and about 50 other columns which are simple checked or unchecked box inputs. Profile: The users username, and 50 boxes with which ones the have selected. Spare Page: this is were the 50 boxes come into play. a page with 50 boxes and a submit button that updates which check boxes have been selected.

I heard that microsoft's new Internet Explorer 7 is going to have window tabs like Mozilla's Firefox. For people who don't use Firefox, you can open multiple windows in one browser and each window is under a tab, it's pretty cool. I don' know much else about IE7 so post back all you know.

I didn't know about google accounts, that's pretty dodgy. and yes i'm pretty sure the weather and movies are only for the US.

Google have come out with a new "thing" i guess. it's called Google home page https://www.google.com/ig it's for you to set up what you want and to set their page as your home page. If you have Gmail it can show you up to the last 9 emails that you have recieved, the word of the day, the weather for where you live(united states only), 9, or something like that, quotes of the day, and a whole heap more. After you customize it you can go to anybody's conputer and go to the site and open up your preferences, but you need a gmail account.

Yeah i got the virus when i installed it. It's in one of the pre-written scripts, if you just delete that script from the 1st page folder you should be fine, there are four different modes - begginer, expert, hardcore and adverage of something. the begginer, hardcore and average all have the same interface though, so there seems to be practically no difference in between the lot of them.

I am new to Xisto and know HTML, CSS, and am learing ASP and C++. i helped build http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/, TheSecondBestSite has been down recently so don't be surprised to find that you can't visit it.

Can't go past Nintendo. they have the best storylines, cause the game isn't all about the graphics like XBOX and sony try to outdo each other on.
