I don' know why but it doesn't affect my mozilla firefox.From this "Mozilla Firefox 1.x" I would think my 1.0.7 would be affected too but it isn't. It shows the correct page in the address bar.What versions is it actually affected on?xJedix

It is indeed a fun game. My friend got me to play it. He has a server set-up so we can just mess around. I like the map bridge-SE map the best.The game is fun and fairly challenging. I think what I like most about it is how realistic the game is. When your character breaths, the aim moves around with your body just like it would in real-life. Though not everything is exactly like real-life, it is a lot better than other games out there.xJedix

Wow, I never knew that they were having riots in France. I have been told that it has been on the media but I haven't seen any. I'm suprised it hasn't been more widely talked about. Do you know any specific reasons why they are rioting? Like government issues or something like that? Or is it just because they feel like it?I am also suprised that only one person has been killed so far. If 300+ cities/towns are rioting, then I would think that there would be more deaths. I can't image being there and having to live through all of that destruction and violence. Hopefully the government or someone steps in to stop this before it continues much farther.You got a point on terrorists. If they decided to do something in France right now, that would cause even more mayhem than there is right now because of the rioting. France could suffer a huge devistation if they did something now.So basically, hopefully someone will step in to stop the rioting before it esculates to something higher.xJedix

I have this old laptop that I have mainly been using as a mp3 player. I currently have windows 98 on it and have some music software to play mp3's. I am just wondering if there are any music operating systems out there. When I say "music operating system," I mean I want a os(like windows) that is only for music. I searched google but couldn't find any. I don't know if anyone made one or not but if you know of one, or have any information on this... please say what you know.Thanks,xJedix

I don't know, with how well WoW did... they should wait a little longer before making the expansion. But, it seems like the expansion is more of a larger patch then what I have seen of some expansions for games.

Thats awsome. I like how you have the kid holding the box where your content goes. Did you actually make him? or is he just a render or something?One problem that I can see is that you won't have to much room for content unless you just have lots of scrolling. because the form is sending the data to "test.php" Though I might just be getting confuzed since I haven't done php in a while.

If that stuff is fine, then there is one thing that might make your coding easier... and maybe might have effect on if it works but I don't think it will. When I do php, I hate doing html in php so I don't. All you have to do is simply do ?> then do the html, which then you don't have to use the slashes. Then once you need php again, you do <?php

Just a little something that makes php easier, you might have already known about it but I thought I would mention it.

My friends have been trying to get me to use this server so I could join their friends list and stuff. But, I really don't have time to make one or to keep it updated. Anyways, I would rather make a really nice one on my own website and then I wouldn't have to have limitations or ads and stuff. I could make anyway I wanted which would be a lot better then what some sites offer. Though I agree its good for teens, especially those that don't know how to make websites and stuff.xJedix

Yea, Its pretty good for your first sig. Like what other people have said, the horizontal lines detract away from your image. I would advise something a bit different for the background.Also, your sig is a bit bland but that can be expected for beginners. Try to add a little more colors and variations and then use it to make what you want to seem more important stand out better.I would rate it about 6/10, mainly because its your first sig. It's a lot better than what I did my first time

Oh man, how many times have I seen this question not only on this forum but everywhere around me. As an owner of a PS2 and not the xbox nor the gamecube, it is natural for me to be a supporter of the PS3. But in all seriousness, I believe that PS3 will exceed the performance/limits of the xbox 360 and most definately the nintendo revolution. And while I am aware of the fact that the PS3 will most likely be more expensive than the other consoles, the question still remains which console will be the most powerful, not the best value. The one advantage that the xbox 360 has over the sony ps3 is that the 360 will be launched earlier, significantly earlier. Sony currently cannot reveal too much information about the PS3 because they still have quite a while to go until the launch of the new system. Many may not realize this, but Sony still has to keep its audience interested in the PS2, a beautiful balancing act that sony has so far been able to keep up. Anyways, I can't wait to see how the situation turns out.

Your totally right. Almost everyone is going to say a certain one is going to win because they either own the previous systems from that company or they have played on them and really like them. I think no one is going to really know until they are all out on shelfs and they get numbers on which one sold the most. And even then, it still doesn't say which one is going to win. It's mostly personal preference and what type of games the users like to play.

 

Personally, I like xbox the best. My friends and I play it all the time even though I don't have one Even though I like xbox the best, I think ps3 and Nintendo's system will both be just as great. They will all have their unique aspects to the system.

Like what everyone else said, it depends on what you are going to be using this computer for. For more heavy gaming and programming, your best bet would be AMD 64 x2. In my personal opinion, I like amd proccessors the most. I have always gone with them over intel or pentium. They have always worked very well for me and I would never want to switch over to a different proccessor. But it's up to you and how much you can afford.I hope it helps. I got a cd-player with mp3 and atrack3pro formats. It is good enough for the amount that I use it. I can store up to like 400 songs onto a cd with the atrack3 format. Other then that, I mainly use my computer to listen to music. I got some nice speakers on it so I prefer to use them when I am home.

Yea, thanks for informing me about this. I just went and got the patches from windows update. I would use linux but my parents would be way to confused to how to do things if I put linux on the computer. They have enough trouble with knowing how to work windows that it wouldn't work out well.Personally, I don't like macs. I have heard though that mac os 10 is really nice but I have had some bad incidents with macs. I doubt I would ever get a mac or put their operating system on my pc. Yes, macs are a lot simpilar but they too have a lot of little holes because they arn't used to having bored people dinking around trying to find ways to exploit holes in their system.xJedix

That's crazy, google is keeping up with all kinds of different services. I have used world wind(Nasa's version) and some other program that I can't remember. If it is as bad as it sounds, your best suggestion is to just re-format your hdd. In my opinion it would take way to long and be not worth it to try getting all of the dll's off the internet.If you need any help re-formating, just ask... But it sounds like you will just take it in and have someone do it. If you got another computer at your house, it would be easy to save your files to that computer so that you don't lose anything when you re-format your hdd. Another thing is if you do have another computer at your house and it is on a network, then you might want to check that computer for the same viruses to make sure that one didn't get affected by yours.just a bit of info to help :huh:xJedix

First off, I want to thank you for doing this. It gives the users a little more incentive to stay active on the forum and to make posts. It is after all your money that your giving away by buying a domain for someone.Lets see, I run a clan site. I have been longing to get a domain for the clan for like a year now. I would get one but I don't have a credit card to pay for it and my parents won't let me use theirs because they don't trust the internet :huh:It would help my clan if I got this domain. It makes the clan look more professional when you have your own domain and it is not a subdomain.
