Should religion be taught to children under the age of 10. And if so, how do you make sure that the children do not become "Zealously Brainwashed". I think no religon should not be taught at that age, religon goes far beyond the "Social Aspect" of things. In fact religon is personal and spiritual, very few children understand that at that age. those that claim to have only been force fed what they are being taught. "mommy and daddy said so, so it must be right." I believe that children should be allowed to study whatever religon they chose, and not just what the family wishes them to know..."for acceptance reasons" What do you think?

Is Wikipedia Better Than Microsoft Encarta?
hanorotu replied to fermin25's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Encarta may be better and have more accurate content. But more people use Wikipedia. I mean, personally, I have never used Encarta. I have always used wiki. Wikipedia was made by humans so of course there are going to be mistakes. If I am not badly mistaken Encarta was made by a corporation, not by users of the internet. -
Hamachi Local Networking... world wide
hanorotu replied to nightfox1405241487's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I tried using Hamachi to play starcraft 2 but for some reason it did not work for me, I could not get connected to anyone. So I just quit with it. But I hear that Vista has a lot of compatibility issues. Here is some possible solutions... 1) Open the appropriate ports for Hamachi in the router (port forwarding). 2) Completely disable Windows firewall: Enter administrative options for the system and turn off the firewall in three places (domain, private and public networks), aside from disabling it from the security center. 3) Also open ports in Windows firewall (for Hamachi) just in case. 4) Set up a static IP address for your home network and set the Hamachi network to 'private' status and enabled file-sharing for it. 5) In the Hamachi program options, uncheck the box that says 'disable vulnerable Windows services' or whatever. You could also look through the official user's guide and the unofficial guide for more suggestions: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://www.angelfire.com/games5/darkcry/hamachi_eng.htm Hope I could be of some help! -
I did not think that I could play Total Annihilation kingdoms anymore until I found this cool program called warzone! Enjoy The WarZone is a gaming lobby for playing multiplayer versions of older DirectPlay 7 or earlier games. While similiar in concept to GameSpy and the old, now defunct MSN Gaming Zone, it specializes in older games, is completely free and contains no ads, adware, or spyware. Moreover, it includes the DirectPlay Router Bypass feature, allowing games to be played without disabling firewalls, changing router settings, or exposing your IP address to other players. The WZ has dedicated, active lobbies for the following games: * Hasbro's Axis and Allies * Hasbro's Risk II * Total Annihilation * Outlaws * Panzer General II * Total Annihilation: Kingdoms * Birth of the Federation In addition to these dedicated lobbies, the WZ also has a generic DirectPlay lobby for all other DirectPlay 7 or earlier games, such as: * Sid Meyer's Gettysburg * Age of Empires II * Heroes of Might and Magic III * And many more... To get started, simply download --> ( http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ) and install the WarZone Client, create a user name and password on its Login screen, and connect to the lobby of your choice.

The GNU Image manipulation program (GIMP) is a free software raster graphics editor. It strongly resembles photoshop. You can download photoshop brushes online and use them for GIMP. I use GIMP to make high resolution pictures and edit camera taken ones. It is very easy to use. Just about anything you can do in photoshop you can do in GIMP. https://www.gimp.org/downloads/
