rite ur my m8 so ill go easy on ya, try telling the thousandans of kurds that saddam husain gassed or the little girls he had raped or the guards he feed to his dogs that saddam wasnt a threat Lemme ask you this: Did Hitler ever attack the U.S.? No, but did the man deserve to be stopped? Yes! So to say that it wasn't our place to try and liberate all the people of Iraq, is, IMO, absurd. You know, we have the highest deficit in the world because of what we've done to help the world. And if you can't see that as a positive, then my friend, you need to prioritize. Putting yourself before others is what gets the world into the situations it gets into. Terrorism, be it national or international, is an act of selfishness and greed. To forget to help your fellow man, is to be forgotten when you stumble. Look at how the world came to our aide after 9-11. Ian Thorpe, the Australlian Olympic swimmer was here for the tragedy, and he said the other night that seeing the best in people come out, after being stared down by the worst of people, still plays a huge role in his everyday life. To say that we had no business in helping other nations, with the ability to do so, is sad. It goes against what our nation was founded on. "United we stand, divided we fall". Our nation itself is reliant on it's people to get along, and help one another out. Take the time to look at the big picture before you go rattling off like that. To get back to the topic, I'd rather have Bush in there, then Kerry, simply because Kerry tried to play the purple heart verteran card, but never mentions personally how he threw them all out, and protested against his nation upon his return. I'd have Bush than have a bi-polar pansy run this country. I'd like to apologize to dontmaimyourself for putting up such a huge tear against his quote. I'll admit, that was as far as I read in your post before I decided to start a reply. One thing I still can't figure out though, where do you stand on the issue? I left the rant, just because, well, it felt good to get that out. Thanks again for the room to post.

You know, I got to thinking the other day at work...Remembering the line from (I know it's an old adage as well) Men In Black, where Will Smith is talking to Tommy Lee Jones about Love. "It's better to have Loved and lost than to never have Loved at all." TLJ "Try it".I can't agree more with him on that statement. Seriously, with all the good times that there are in relationships, none of it is worth it if it ends. The pain just doesn't add up to all the good. I'm 22, and only had 2 relationships ever. But I've got 46 months total between the 2 of them, and almost equal shares. I have to admit, I'd have rather been single these past 5 years than been devistated twice now.Argh, women are too fickle, not worth the expenses, and totally absured 99% of the time.Okay... before I go on too big of a tear, I'm going to stop now, and mention the fact that despite everything I stated above, I still feel the need to be with someone. I just wish women I get involved with could commit. I've had both of my ex's cheat on me now... and it sickens me everytime.Again, going to stop. Thanks for giving me a place to rant.(everything stated above was the personal opinion of LunchBox, and does not reflect on any other individuals... women, take note!)

Love poker!!! Hold 'em and the classic, 5 card draw. I usually don't have very good luck with hold 'em, and only moderate luck in 5CD, but where I'm really lucky in cards is blackjack. That's my cash cow. It'd be pretty sweet if we could get a Xisto poker tourney going...

I've got 120. Less than 10 used up so far. But I've got a buddy who just left for Iraq who's got a Terrabyte!!! (1000 gigs)

Personal pref, AGP. Depends on chipset and mobo though too.

Going off my experience with my camera. I have an Olympus Stylus 300. Weatherproof, up to 12x zoom (3x optical, 4x digital), etc. blah, blah. It's a 3.2 mp camera, and does more than what I need it to, but it's always nice to have it there. It's an all-around good camera. Great for outing with friends (amusement parks, beach, etc.), and everything else.Just a suggestion.

Shouldn't you at least have the one that windows needs in order to run? Anyhow, I have the single partition setup on my HD. WD120 with the 8MB buffer!!!

Might I suggest, if you intend to flame someone, try using appropriat grammar. Secondly, there's no need to make an entire post in all caps. And I'm sorry your friend wasn't pleased with his 64, but does he know enough about the system he built that it could support all the 64 had to offer? Also, IMO, Intel hasn't made anything decent since the PIII.

Kinda remind me of Catch 22. Sounds good, and "catchy". It's something unique, and therefore to me, easy to remember.

Umm yeah, this poll was a little biased, becasue it included 3 of the 4 128 bit systems out there (you forgot dreamcast, which has a better game library than xbox any day). It also left out the classics. IMO the best gaming system thus far has to be the SNES. Megaman X, Super Mario Kart, and of course, the original slew of Squaresoft releases! (FF2, FF3, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, etc). But if I must chose one of the 3 provided (and I own all 4 of teh 128's), I'd have to say PS2.

Here's a looped bit from SNL set to a very unique soundclip... http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Always makes me smile.

How many times is too many? Reason I ask, mine just got broken for the second time. And lemme explain this a bit. I just got out of a 21 month relationship. And this is my shortest yet. It was also only my second. My first one lasted 25 months. So in only two relationships, I have more time involved in them than all my friends. But they've all had way more than I have. So again I ask for the sake of knowing, is it a lot of times, a little bit, or a few times, even more?

Have you read the book? I haven't but even I know the novel was where the basis for the 3 laws comes from. I'm sure that there's more than just the title in common... even if it's something as miniscule as the type of robots that were around for everyday life. I.E. ns-4 and ns-5. I also remember Sonny was indeed the name of the chosen robot. Before you hack it, why don't you do a little research? And about the advertising, yeah it's there. But c'mon, looking at the audi of the future, which audi designed for the movie, there's no way you can knock that. Not if you have an appreciation for cars at least, especially good cars.

Absolutely Bender from Futurama. Did you know his voice was also the voice of the american release of Wakka from Final Fantasy 10? It's true, John DiMaggio. But if I gotta chose one that hasn't been picked yet, I'd have to say Pinky, from Pinky and the Brain. Zort!

My musical appreciation is too vast to have a fave band, but I do have a fave album: The OST to A Night At The Roxbury! A party on a disc!
-
My top 2:Ocean's Eleven (Clooney version)Good Will Hunting

Top two fav. characters are Crono, from Chrono Trigger, and Falco Lumbardi from the Starfox series! One's the quiet hero type, and the other is the NPC you always wanna play as.

SBSP is definitely AOK. Heck, my ex's mom bought me a fleece with SB on it, and I still use it on my bed everynight. For a long time I only though sponges were for cleaning, now we all now, they're for other things too!!!Fav. Ep. - the one where he and plankton sing the friendship song!!!

One movie, one word: Exorcist. You just don't end a movie like that. I sat in the theatre (during the re-relaese) the whole time hoping something would startle me, nothing did. Amd then it ended, and I was really upset! I wanted my money back, I felt so cheated.Doesn't mean I won't go see E:TB though. That one actually looks good... just hope it doesn't have a familiar ending, that's all.

That's not true to a large degree. How many people do you know that used Win95? Was AMD a felt presence then? Not really. But come on, you all know AMD is around now, and giving Intel a heck of a time trying to keep that "number one" spot. To say that people stuck with what they used first is highly unlikely. AMD never would've made to even the K6 chipset. It's time for a change, and for the better I might add. AMD will take the spot from Intel in due time...

There's a handy little proggie out calle CPUIdle Extreme (http://www.cpuidle.de/). It helps drop temps pretty well. I dropped at least 4 deg C upon trying it out. Awesome little helper. Also, Motherboard Monitor (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) helps you monitor, and gain minor control over temp problems etc.Water/vapor cooling are other alternatives.I usually idle around 40 deg C with my xp2200+, but I benchmark higher than a usual 2200, without any overclocking, I just optimized.

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk! Doesn't anybody here know that AMD is responsible for 64-bit processing happening? And if you plan to go 64 with Longhorn, no matter what brand you go with, the main infrastructure will be the same. See, it's like this, Intel overclocks it's stuff from the factory, that's why you get 3.2 ghz with 800mhz fsb. AMD keeps it real, and does it more solidly. This is why, when the 64 race started, and AMD was already ahead of the game by setting the standard for 64-bit processing, Microsoft told Intel they had to go off of what AMD had already accomplished. LOL. Now Intel has lost the lead, but continues to hold up numbers thanks to companies like gateway, dell, and compaq. And about the processor test where they ran quake 3, and removed the heatsink... Yeah, the problem with the AMD prolly lied within the mobo, and not the processor. ASUS has whats known as C.O.P. CPU Overheat Protection, so it woulda shut off before the flames showed up, and the CPU would prolly still be okay.If it's not apparent, I voted AMD!

Especially for 56k browsing, nothing beats Mozilla Firefox. And I've used them all, myIE2, opera, IE6, none of them come close. Besides, tabbed browsing makes life so much easier... oh yeah, it's free too!!!
