  1. You are not weird at all, there are a lot of individuals out there that find it easy to communicate with people, and it comes quite naturally to them. You are definately one of the lucky ones!! Just be true to who you are, and you can not go wrong!!
  2. i must add my opinons too, for is it not the essence of a forum to voice ones opinion??? I think that it all comes down to individual basis. the individual going to school, the school, the syllabus....everything, it has to be one tight equilibrium for it to work. I have been Home schooled, i have gone to a 15'000 AUD a term private school, a 300 AUD a year public school, TAFE (Tech School), Uni (online and On Campus) and i can say that any have really suited me!! i am now studying a masters online, through a RMiT and it has to be the most comfortable so far, i set the limits, my effort is my only limit.... and i find it the most rewarding!!! but i sometimes wish that i had some Real world help...... i guess it all comes down to the individual concerned, and the stage of life they are in. (INFANT) i think at a young age, and when my child is born this october!!!, i will be an advocate of a structured learning program from the time they come home. if you introduce them (the children) to a program from such a young age, it sets them up for schooling later on. By structured learning, i mean taking a damn yellow block and saying yellow, blue block...etc and baby sign language....i think/know that challenging the brain so early has great benefits, as cognitive development begins very early (TODDLER) when they reach 2-3 years old, id seriously consider a early development learning kinder/school, as by this age it is likely that a professional is better suited to structuring a program for your child, these people learn about educating toddlers...i figure they know what blocks to show them and when!!! HA!! (YOUNG CHILD) when your child reaches 4-5 years old is when the diffucult choice comes, public/private/or home school??? well, i cannot give advice, but just be attentive to your childs needs....are they sciencey/nerdy and require a PhD level scientist to teach them biology....well my guess is private or a REALLY good public..... are they unsure of who they are??? the public, a rich plethora of individuals, will help your child discover themselves...... or homeschool. as long as you meet truancy laws, then there is no right or wrong with how you educate your child, just as long as you do!! the most important thing, i believe is just giving them the best opportunity you can afford to give them!!!! joshua
  3. Hello all, My name is Joshua, and after reading through a lot of posts in this section, i have decided to write a whole bunch of dating guides, relationship guides....basically guides to help you in your relationships. Not only with the opposite sex, but with everybody else too. I dont offer pick up guides, or 'how to pull' guides, that is simple, go to a bar, get a woman/man drunk...take home, have sex. Anybody can do that, but to sustain a healthy relationship, to break down personal barriers, can be diffucult for some people, and i am here to help with that. i will start off with a fundamental introduction for today, and follow with daily, sometime dual daily posts on the topic. Enjoy Joshua ------------------------------------Aerens Guide to Men, Women, Dating and all in Between--------------------------------------- First and foremost, meeting people, dating and relationships is fun. there is no need for sweaty palms, 'butterflys' in the stomach or a heart rate so high, its coming out your mouth!!! No Need. Ever. AT ALL. The only reason we 'date' is to form some sort of interpersonal relationship, so we may ascertain (find out) whether we want to spend more time with that person. you are not there to 'get a root', you are not there to find someone to 'impress mum' and you are most certainly not there because others are doing it. Well at least these shouldnt be the reasons for being on a date. you need to be on a date because you want to. you want to be on a date to find ot if this person IS someone you could spend more time with, which means no pretensions, no fanciness, no PRETENDING to be someone you are not. you just need to be yourself, and get to know the person sitting opposite you. to effectively communicate with someone, and truly get to know them, you need to be confident with yourself, and who you are, therefore no pretending is needed to hide any insecurities you have. most people's problems with meeting other people, is confidence. Confidence is probably the most important quality, aside from honesty, one can have when you meet someone. No 'bravado' or 'pretentiousness' is needed, and will either attract the wrong people or just plain not work. All you need is a good dose of confidence (and maybe dutch courage?? HA!!) Confidence is all about trusting and beleiveing in yourself, and then conveying that sense to others. Appearing confident is half the battle, and some ways you can appear confident; -Straight Posture- a straight posture is good for showing confidence and strength -Smile- fairly obvious -Eye Contact- you want the person to actually know you are speaking to them yes??? -Leaning Forwards- Leaning Forwards shows you are willing or intent on what is being said There are a lot more posture points to be considered, and if anybody is interested, then i will cover posture completely in another post. Basically, they key to confidence is believing in yourself, putting it out there, and showing you are confident. And be honest, to yourself and others. I will write further tonight on this introductory subject, i have an ultrasound for the other half to get to!!! Joshua
  4. G'day mate, im from Australia too, Bendigo to be precise. As for your system, it can be "overkill" as said by rpgsearcherz, but then again it could be well under par also. No one person giving advice in this thread will ever be right or wrong, and ultimately the decision will come down to you, and your needs for a PC. if it is the first stuff you want to do, and just a bit of gaming, then CPU, RAM and a BIG hard Drive are your first priorities. Then if you want to step up gaming a bit or you are having lag issues with your FPS, then go for dedicated graphics. I now notice though that you say 3d modelling.... 3ds Max?? what program will you use, are you going to render aswell?? then you need to start looking high end system. there are so many things to consider when buing a new PC, but i have found in my experience the most important thing to consider is, HOW MUCH!!!! cost is a limiting factor, especially in these times, and you must first work out how much you can spend. Then you figure out where you want your system to go, and buy the most important component first, and spend the most on it, then budget/second hand the rest. as for the system you stated; i think that its a great system, and not too bad a price, although with a bit of shopping around, you could get it cheaper, and get a few better components, and acessories. I will not advertise in this post, as thats in bad taste, but if you want more advice on cheaper components and good system configurations, then send me a private message or my msn on cabraamor@hotmail.com . Although, as a lot of people are thinking, and a few have posted, the weak point of this system is definately the PSU, grossly underpowered, especially with the specs you got!! but all in all a good system, and the i7 is great, i have a few in my systems at home. remember, feel free to contact me for advice on this, or anything else!! Josh
  5. 9/10 my friend, that is all it takes, someone to actually just sit back and give a sh*t....I am happy to have helped and please feel free to contact me at any time, unless you support manchester city or man u....then its a no go!!! HA!! Jokes. Remember, there is nothing worng with you that deems you an outcast, nor makes you different... APPX 1 in 8 got it b well my friend, contact me if you need anything at all. Josh
  6. oh my good ness i sincerely apologise for paraphrasing from an article, i never puported those words to be my own, nor did i say those words are a result of my own studies on it. if you would like my friend, i can scan or email you my own papers on the subject too?? somehow i dont see that would change your mind, but thats the beauty of science, and what drives the improvement of it. We can BOTH have VALID arguments and opinions on whether it is good or not, and guess what, we are both right. Joshua EDIT: yes i do know this, and can write you MANY words, or AGAIN i CAN email you my thesis on Cholesterols, proteins...etc, i actually do apologise without any sarcasm whatsoever for my lack of knowledge in posting on internet forums, but my BBCODE is rather laughable and i couldnt qoute properly, i left it ambiguous i know, and for that i apologise. As for calling lipoproteins 'cholesterol', really...how many people here will know what lipoproteins are??? it makes high level information much more accessable to people who have no science background. if you would like i can begin a thread on educating the masses on things like this?? Peace Joshua
  7. Hello All, I have been reading a lot of posts on MSN messenger recently on forced updates and cant install versions, etc. (Novic i pasted a link to a version 7 for you that didnt auto update) well i have for all that are interested ALL msn version full offline installers, and when i am done, 'cracks' to stop auto updating. I will keep updating and checking this thread, so please past requests and questions on all things mesenger here and i will reply ASAP. Below are links to my megaupload account for all versions As stated above i will post 'cracks' for want of a better word, to bypass the auto/forced update when i can. I will keep this thread active and check it very frequently to offer all manner of 'cracking' and customisation of MSN Messenger , and will post a link to my 'Aeren Messenger BETA' soon which is Based around MSN Messenger framework Kind Regards joshua EDIT: But if i may offer my advice as a programmer, although i do not believe in choices being made against our will, there are A LOT of flaws in earlier versions of Messenger, so the 'forced' update isnt so bad. but if your reasons are for compatibility, then i fully understand. Version 7 and previous DO NOT require a forced update. anything after that does, if it doesnt, you are lucky. if you are fond of a version post 7, the request i 'crack' it for you, or i can 'make' and AerenMSN Messenger version for you. Josh
  8. I am in no way being offensive here misanthrope, so please forgive me if it sounds lik i am, but i am fed up with the internet and its ability to perpetuate lies or myths, and unsubstaniated fact about products, when the people themselves are not scientists or medical professionals, nor have they actually tested the products them selves. A bit of back ground on me, i am a doctor, a medical scientist. I have worked in a laboratory, and YES i have tested and researched canola, and if i may correct your statement; so hopefully you can see, most claims about this particular oil are TOTAL BS, and advice or opinion should not be given as fact, opinion most certainly is cool, but people should always state that they are not a professional, as this is how crap claims are perpetuated. i dont want to sound like im on my high horse, i am no better than anyone here, i am just a believer in truth and honesty 100% as for you claims that canola oil damages heart tissue, i find that really really funny, and couldnt be further from the truth. it is GOOD for your heart, i hope i have been informative, and not condescending. I can offer help and ADVICE on anything health related, medical and nutritional, but as always my advice is no substitute for seeing you own GP or health professional. Notice from truefusion: As a doctor, you should have been able to come up with the words yourself. Indeed, if we search the internet: https://www.choice.com.au/
  9. First of all, Welcome hmate to Xisto. My name is Josh, im 26, and a medical professional from Los Angeles, Now residing in australia. During my Internship my area of study, both for medicine and my psych thesis was Herpes Simplex, more specifically HSV-2, as it is prolific in LA.Ill be the first to admit too, i also have HSV2.it didnt really impact me at all, but i figure that comes from the fact that there isnt nothing i know about it, right down to a sub atomic level, and if i may say without offending you, 99% of all fears stems from ignorance (for lack of a better word) and/or a lack of knowledge on the subject. We as cognitive human beings are intrinsically (naturally) scared/fearful of the unknown, so naturally when you find out you have HSV2 (Genital Herpes--so much harder to say!!) you are filled with fear. Let me explain that fear, as much of it is just social stigmata. You Hear "i have Herpes"They hear: "I am a dirty s**T, MAN Wh**e, who cant keep his genitals in his pants and now i am a prolific spreader of a dirty disease"Nothing could be further from the truth. I got it simply because me and my wife were unaware she had caught it from an unconsiderate partner from many years back, as the virus can lay dormant for years. It is not a dirty disease, although it can look horrible (which adds to the fear of it) it simply lies in your lymphs, sheds, becomes active for a few days-10 or so...and begins the viral cycle again....as with most virii, everytime they are transmitted from one host to another, they change on an atomic level, and there cycles, strengths etc change...you may have a non aggressive strain, that pops up only once a year etc...and isnt too severe.speak to your GP, as although i am Fully medically qualified, the internet is hardly the medium to be taking advice from, but speak to your doctor, get some anti virals, get topical creams for outbreaks, and always use condoms with partners, and be open with them about your herpes, and you will find 9/10 most people are accepting.if you want more info, or need to chat to someone, my msn is cabraamor@hotmail.com and email is joshuawood213@gmail.com, id be happy to educate you, help you with whatever problems you may have. I got lots of info on it, but PLEASE although i am a doctor, my advice here is no substitute for your own GP...that goes for anywhere i will post on here... coverin my *bottom*!!as to address your issue, i am sorry to hear it had/has affected you psychologically. but rest assured, although permanent, it is a non life threatening disease, that is completely manageable, and you can, if you treat your lifestyle and body right, make sure you only have outbreaks every few years or so....again contact me for a chat if need be.Joshua

  11. There are so many factors to consider when you are buying a PC and its related components.-How Much money you have to spend -What you want to do with the PC (Gaming, Video Processing, Image Manipulation, Media Center etc) -Energy Consumption (For those Greenies) in terms of raw power and 'money no object' buying, then yes the i7 is the ultimate choice, as of this moment. It can do so much more than any other processor available, if you push it to do so, but really, most consumers will not ever do it, so there is no point in getting such a processor, unless you are a framerate junkie, or professional video editor. If you are a gamer, which i assume you are, which games are you playing, how big is your monitor...etc. I ask these questions, as if you do not have a big resolution to your monitor, to a point you do not need and as powerful video card (being the most important component in a gamin PC In my opinon, bar RAM) and if you only want to play WoW then an old P4 with 1gb DDR2 ram and a 9500gt for example would be suffice, but if you had a 30 inch monitor, at 13212434x132454 resolution and wanted to run the game at MAX visual settings and get the smoothest frame rate, then i may suggest robbing a bank and getting the best of everything. Really, you need to figure out what is important to you, and MOST importantly how much you have to spend and work around that. if you need help and advice on a more custom level, PM me or meet me on msn.... again, processor isnt as important, but it still does provide a good suport structure to PC's..... they both have 1mb of L2 cache (although 939 socket version of 3200 has only 512kb of L2) one has a higher clockspeed (1620's 2.4ghz vs the 3200's 2.0) but clockspeed isnt the be all end all of computing, unless you are after bragging rights. they have different sockets ...so different Mobo's are required. i cant say with too much authority, when i dont know the model of 3200 you have (there are 10+ models) but my choice would be the 1620.... like i say, PM me if you want some more customised help...or help with desiging a system. Josh
  12. Hello all, my name is Josh but in the online world i am known as aeren. I am 26 years old, and Live in Bendigo, Australia. My strengths lie in Medicine, science, Computer programming (PHP, SQL, Linux, Ruby, Perl, C+, C#.....etc), I am somewhat of an expert, self proclaimed , in all things Photoshop.
