I have learned to write Java, PHP, JavaScript and HTML/CSS all on my own. I am not as good as a pro but it's not really hard with all of the free tutorials online. The "Dummies" books are all very good places to start.

I love PHPNuke Platinum. Too bad it seems that support for it si going downhill very very fast. I haven't really tried any others. Non of them seem to have the features that Platinum had.

cPanel might as well be the only control panel as far as I'm concerned. I won't use a host unless they offer it. I've used quite a few others and have hated them all.

I have a few cool sites: United Banners is banner exchange that has some very cool features like pro accounts and Google style text ads. This has been a very fun site to try to promote. It is off to a pretty good start but is full of potential. MySpace Junky is a site for MySpace users. I adopted this one from a friend, I guess he got bored of it. It is getting about 300 hits a day and is growing steadily. I plan to add a ton of cool features to it before this summer. 4MX is my baby. The true love of my life. Hosting forums seems to be very good business. I have no users yet, but I have been working on getting links more than signups to get it started. It is pretty togh competition when there are so many free forum hosts out there, but the challenge will make it all that much better in the end. I have a few other sites running around out there on the web. These just happen to be the ones worth mentioning.

If you just want to display images you have created, I would reccomend Coppermine. It is by far the best image gallery script on the planet.

LOL I have to say, as the owner of a banner exchage, we are not all scammers. I currently am displaying only members banner on my exchange. Even other banner exchanges. Banner exchanges are a very good way to get free advertising. It will only bring in so many hits though. It is considered very good if you get morea couple clicks out of a thousand banner impressions. You can't expect your site to grow from banner exchages alone, but it is a very good way to help get things moving.

Apparently I disagree with everybody I prefer Fireworks over Photoshop. I have had several problems with CS2. All Adobe programs seem to take days to open. I hate all Adobe software. It was a sad day when they bought Macromedia. I think they will ruin flash and dreamweaver too. The absolute greatest feature of any graphics program , in my opinion, is perfect intergration with Dreamweaver. And Fireworks is the perfect mate for DW.

I don't see the problem here. There's nothing tricky about it. If two people want to be together than nothing else really matters. It is a part of life that people get rejected. This friend really needs to wake up and see that it is not in the cards. Why should one persons hang up ruin the happiness of two people? That just doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't buy that stuff about the sandbox. I just got 4mx.biz indexed in less than a month. I think that you need to work hard to make people want to come to your site anyway. Google will find it if it matters.

Apparentl, it's not leagal according to google. If you look at the site now it says:

It still doesn't appaer to be indexed. I hope you have been spending the last few months getting it optomised so when it gets seen, it will get the PR you are after.

I suck at art. I can not get graphics to look remotely decent most of the time, so I am asking for a favor. I have an avatar that I usually use on forums that doesn't quite fit. I pretty much stopped using it because it is the opposite of what it should be. My username on every forum I post on is darthmalis. This is after a character I created for the star wars RPG. He is supposed to be the same race as Yoda (in my campaighn, the race is the original sith) but he is evil, more evil than Darth Vader and Darth Sidious put together (well... not quite that evil ) but the avatar I usually use is a pic of Yoda with a green lightsaber. Not exactly the image of the the true dark lord of the sith I am looking for. So What I would like, if anybody is up to it, is a modification to the image below. I would like to have him wielding a red lightsaber and maybe a little something to make him look a little bit more evil. Maybe wrinkle his face a bit more like Emperor Palpatine. If you can make his robe more of black I would love it a lot. Also, if you are real spunky, the ultimate mod would be to make his skin purple. I know I am asking a lot, but it would probably be an interesting project for somebody that knew what they were doing. I don't have a lot to offer but I would give somebody all of my credits from Xisto. I am not sure at the moment how many that is but I have not spent any of them so, it should be enough to help your cause. I can also give you some credits on my banner exchange or something, if it helps inspire anybody to take on this task for me. Thanks in advance to anybody that at least considers it.

Ask yourself one question, "Would she go out with a wuss?". If you want to get her attention, just talk to her. Treat her like a normal person. If you start buying flowers and trying to tag along she will just think you are creepy. I know it's cliche, but just be yourself. If she likes you it will be obvious, if not, well, she probably has some girlfriends that may take notice. As far as the friends that don't like you, screw her friends.
