A few days ago I tried buying a Dedicated server from them using my Debit Card. It took a while for them to reply to my support ticket as they have not done anything for 3-4 days. On the 5th I got an email from them asking me for a copy of my passport, Bank statement and driving license. I phoned them up and said it was outrageous for them to have this sort of information which they may pass on or get hacked or leaked ect... I therefore cancelled my Dedicated server and went somewhere else. The bill was not even $200+. After reading many more reviews of 1 and 1 the quality of them seems to be very poor along with the customer service. I also agree do not get any service with 1 & 1.I am now just about to start up my web hosting once it is up I hope some of you will review it for me.

You want them both to go to the same place. In other words, when someone types either http://www.mysite.com/ or http://my-other-site.com/ they will go to the same page(s) on your website.

Add-On Domains

You have two domains mysite.com and my-other-site.com.

You want the two domains to be totally separate/independent websites.

Hi there as many of you may know I run a Tech Blog for some reason on my old host the blog just crashed and I kept getting a internal server error. Today I have moved hosts and still get the same. It cannot be the server as index.html file seems to work.

To verify about the number of pageviews...please consider using Google analytics. I've used ol all my sites and its an amazing piece of software mate.

If you're going to run a site with loads of user submitted content..then consider having a strong security mechanism and support team. otherwise you'll lose the support of even your most dedicated of readers.

It is becoming very annoying and I think Youtube should be doing something about this. They could add it to the stage of processing, as many of you may know after you upload any video it will be processed usually a staff member will look at the video first before it is fully published. URL's can be changed with settings tab in wordpress. You need to update .htaccess after this.

Okay. Here let me review again. Theme is not unique considering you are claiming 3000 visitors daily. Twitter widget never helps build visitors in fact it takes that away from you. You should remove the widget instead just put your twitter id image link on site. You want your visitors to go to twitter instead ? think about it.

 

You didn't edited the URL's as well. still i see the "/p=97?" type of URLs. You should take a look at that again. Chane it to "/month/postname". If that suits you. I think month wise sorting is good that year+month on url. Hope this helps.

 

The URL's are having a problem changing, When I get the time I am going to install a plugin to update all the posts to the new URL ending. This has been added onto my 'todo' list.

Again onto the theme if you think it is a little 'offputting' then please suggest a fresh new one for us to try out for a week or two to see how it goes.

Stats Explained, As you can see at the start not even getting 100 however after buying some adwords that go us kicked up in the ranks! Now most recently you can see there isn't many, this was because of the maintenance and no users where logged on that day apart from 3 hours before it went online.

The blog is now back up online, I am sorry for it being down there was a major cache error that was only showing parts of the theme however all has been fixed and we are up and running once again. Please give me more feedback and suggestions you guys may have & if you want to become an author.

We are reaching 3,000 visitors most days however it is going down day by day. I do think the ads have part of driving members away I may reduce them and however still have enough to earn money and maybe tell people if they become a member your ads remove for free.I have sorted out the URL's it will now be something like "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; The SEO I sorted out the other day and am waiting for Google to update us on the DigitalWink search result. What I could do I remove the ads from the posts on the front page and leave a sidebar and then make them display on the full posts, or I could try and get a plugin to remove them once you are signed inAny ideas on the ads?

Hello there,I am been testing IE 9 just under a week now and find it a little unreliable. The speed seems to be fine though still not as fast as good chrome. I like the new features such as the Disable Addons faster speeds and it explains any addons you may run inside of IE will slow down and page showing quicker and tells you the amount of time it adds on before it loads. I also like the new tab starting page that seems to stand out from other browsers. I like the new toolbar up top seems to be more modern and looks great in Windows 7 and Vista then again you are not able to try this if you are on Windows XP. Some of my popular websites I visit and even my own blogs do not display correctly which is rather annoying as they do in all other browsers.That's me finished .

I was thinking of offering this service with my web hosting business and giving people a discount or free hosting for the first 3-6 months something like that to get more people buying Web Design. There is a lot more money involved when it comes to Web Design than web hosting so I am going to try and focus on that in the upcoming future good luck to yours .

You get people saying AlienWare PC's are the best for gaming however they are not and you might as well buy a car with that money, as all you do with Alienware is pay for the logo. Self-Made computers are the best as you can design and have it how you like whilst also saving money like labour costs etc..
