I ran across a new os called zonbu, although cant get it to run on my new machine i tried it in a virtualmachine and it worked fine, they also offer a 1.5ghz 99.00 pc with os installed, it is a cloud based system so you need a dsl connection

i noticed some of the christians believe adam was the first, thats not exactly true.... adam was the first man in the garden created in gods image.... not the first on earth... remember cain went into the wilderness with the beasts and found a mate, not his sister.... cave men maby i wont get into that but that shoud be enough to get a few christians reading their bible

id have to say vista because with dx10 standard and a good dx10 capable video card your ready for the new games on the market, add 64bit and dual monitors and your set, all though very few games are available that require dx10, but all my old games work fine with this setup

i am building a similar setup, but better, msi k9a2 platinumphenom quad coreati cross fire video cards8 gigs of ram, only 7 gigs shows upcurrently running a sempron 64 untill i can buy a phenomive only spent about 400.00 so far

amd phenom quad core with a spider platform mobo, k9a2platinum is what i have, cross fire video set up, with the mobo having 4 pipelines the 4 core performs better than intel 4 core since their mobo has 3 pipe lines on their high end equipment, or so i read when i made my decision to buy a msi mobo

my laptop heats up when watching video on hulu ect, maby your problem is related to a video issue

was the problem immediatly after repair? did they know they sent you home with a still broken laptop... if so, was it because thay themselves broke it.... i dont see how repairing a sound issue turns into a power issue

i noticed on while using my laptop at work as a security guard, keeping the window open to allow cool air to reach the laptop and keeping the guardshack arround 65 deg my laptop preforms much better else it gets hot and shutsdown

I use both but prefer my desktop with dual monitors, i can simply do much more with it.... for normal use and web browsing i like a laptop its like reading a book, simple and pleasant

i like avast and they offer a free version, i had similar problems with a torrent i downloaded for kaspersky, after a clean install and free avast my computer runs just fine

Most problems i had with detection were bios related. i usually just disconnect drives and reboot into bios with only one device connected at a time to find conflicts, i had a dvd that when connected my hdd would not apear, ended up swapping it into another pc and havent had a problem for months

what about a key, is it the version that installs without one and expires in 30 days , what version? student, home, pro, media center

i have gOS 3 in vmware but cant get the vmware tools to work, but i like the look and feel of the desk top, i use a dual monitor setup and is so easy to jump back and forth just by moving my mouse, as for speed i havent noticed a difference between virtualized and native, i only have a 1.8 sempron with 1gig with a vista host and all works well

I understand the cross-fire config, mobo came with all the necessary cables, and directions.... when i get the money i will go with a ati config due to mobo design, after i find a good deal on a phenom cpu i now use a sempron 64 1.8 that i had up to 2.6 with no problems, but for a short time the factory 1.8 seems to run every thing just fine... but for now i had to save money and the used ati did not work for my games so a 30.00 nvidia was the solution, but as stated i guess running dual video cards is like running dual processors, every thing must match or be designed for such

when i replaced my card i also replaced the compound between processor and heatsink on my cpu, it was used when i bought it, although i never noticed an overheating problem... but i may put it back in if i could run both cards, has anyone done this i would then have two vga ports, 1 dvi port, 1 composite, and two svideo ports i have a k9a2platinum board so i have 4 pci-e slots

was looking for an iso for my vmware setup and ran across something called gOS Cloud, cant find a download for it but it seems like a good program, system boots into a lite linux with browser and a few applications and a link to boot into windows, not sure about how it switches back, wandering if its like windows 95, that had the optoin to boot into dos... if any one has tried it, or knows where to get an ISO let me know

I used virtual pc back when i ran win98 on my mac, virtual box recently because its free, but id like to have 3d for games and things, does any of the virtual pc emulators support 3d if not whats the best solution

I recently replaced my ati x300 with a geforce 7600 due to the ati card freezing, never found a problem with it, ran cool, tv out worked fine ect but the nvidia doesnt freeze my system
