  1. First off I'm not sure if this topic should go in What is... so Admin feel free to close or move it. I've download pocket pc Divx 0.8 and for some reason it would not play any files from mp3 to avi. I've heard people say it doesn't work and others say it works perfectly. Is it because of different OS? I'm running Windows Pocket PC 2003 and it wouldn't play anything. Any help or opinions is most welcome. Notice from snlildude87: I'm moving this to the Softwares forum. The main idea of this forum - to share what you have learned today - is a little vague, so it will be improved in the near future.
  2. LOL! How sad Tyssen. So how'd you get out of the quicksand anyways? I'm sure your wife was laughing too hard to throw you a branch
  3. LOL! Man sometimes people make the simplest thing the hardest thing ever. The funniest thing ever that happen to me (that my friends would remember for the rest of their life) was when I "hit" a park car. I was running cross country and this one guy in a lexus didn't see 6 guys running in front of his car (he was about to leave the parking lot) and he hit all 6 of us (i got the worst damage) but afterwards my friends would joke, "Man I still can't believe you hit a park car". The reason they said that was that the other 5 guys stopped when they see the car moved but apparently I didn't see and ran smack into the lexus . Good thing the damage wasn't that bad.
  4. Wow so many different opinions but so far I've heard none about DHL. Well the good thing is that I still got time to make sure which company but right now I'm leaning toward Fun from his/her experiences. Thanks guys.
  5. There are many very good RPG for GBA and here's my list:Golden Sun I + II: Love the graphics, love the game. Very unique in the storyline and the graphics is much more different than other rpg games.Harvest Moon All Series: A very addictive game and challenging. Have fun checking out the cheats =]. Who would've thought cows and chickens can be so cool?FF Tactics: The battle isn't the best but I like how the weapons are shown during the battle and changes and you switch weapons.Kingdom of Hearts: Unique in the storyline and the graphic wasn't as bad as I thought. It's incredible they can make such a great game for GBA.
  6. I was referred by a friend at school who just remembered I've been trying to find the best free web hosting (I was using hostultra before) and so he told me about Xisto and so here I am.
  7. I know exactly how you feel. Dial-up sucks big time but at least I'm better than most of the dial-uppers because mine is free, no ads, and unlimited. I can never play games when I'm downloading or uploading something. Very annoying. The good thing is that I'm gettin cable soon
  8. Well this question has puzzle me for a long time and I was wondering if there are any opinions on this matter. If I can successfully sell my sister's laptop, I want the best service for shipping possible for the buyer. So what'll it be, DHL, UPS, or FEDex?
  9. Yup, I do have it right now and its still in almost mint condition even after about 6 months or so. Well here is what it says in the settings:*Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 verision 4.20.1081At the home site (which I just found on google)*Intel PXA 263 300mhz*IO Interference SIR irDAThat's pretty much all I know from the site and the ppc itself. The rest are all features and misc. stuff.
  10. About a year ago my sister went a bought a Pocket PC from Fry's. She, like some women, didn't know what a Pocket PC was except that it's portable. So...now she 'gave' me her Matsunichi i-mat ppc since she doesn't use it anymore. I haven't found any sites that talks about the i-mat because most of the sites are in Chinese. Have anyone heard of this ppc cause I sure haven't.
  11. Thanks dspencer. I hate it when I find duplicates and have to go back and check if it IS a duplicate or not. Well, it's time to empty out 1gb of duplicates...
  12. Wow best female character eh? That would be: Peach AKA Princess Toadstool Garnett from FFIX Yuna from FFX+ Sakura from Card Captors osknockout is right, this IS funny topic. A bunch of guys talking about chicks in games. How amusing
  13. Yeah I'm also skeptical about SendEarnings. I do not believe why people would pay other people to read emails and if there is credit card involve, I personally would stay away from it. And I agree with boyCradle about reading junk mails because I know I wouldn't want to go through 10+ emails everyday even for cash.
  14. Ah, I see your point elevenmil. I guess I sorta rushed into this thing too quickly and I do agree with you about how other people would want sports etc section too. Thanks for solving this thing for me and I appreciate it. Thanks.
  15. I forgot to add my sister returned both modems already with full refund from Fry's. The first two times she didn't bring me along as she usually does so I had no clue what went on. Next time I will force my sister to bring me along with her.
  16. Well I haven't called them (I never do =/ ). I've tried Diamond and this one other brand with Supra on it but I forgot what it was called. Both are v92 bought from Fry's Electronics. When I check if it was digitally signed, it said it wasn't so I have no clue how to proceed. Digitally signed: compatiable with Windows. I shall go with my sister to Fry's soon to ask the people there what's wrong.
  17. Well why CAN'T we have a pet section such as for fish, birds, dogs, cats, etc? I mean I'm sure there are many pet lovers out there (me being one) who would want a section like this. Some of you might know this site: fishforums.net. It's a very active and popular fish/aquatics site for info and many things. Why can't we have it here? In this fish section could also be an aquatic plant section too. One of the popular aquarium plant website is aquaticplantcentral.com. This too is a very active site for plant and fish lovers but mainly focused on plants. This is just my opinion so don't be mad. We could attract more variety of people to Xisto that way including pet and plant lovers. Thank you for your time.
  18. The Wonderful Cross by Chris Tomlin: Well that's my opinion of a touching Christian song. Hope you enjoyed it. Notice from BuffaloHELP: Entered quote tags.
  19. Well my sister received a free computer (2.5 ghz pentium 4 etc) and for some reason I can't install the modem. I have dial up. I keep buying new modems and trying it for Window XP and it STILL doesn't work. Each company says compatible with Window XP but none of the modem is digitally signed. This the first time that I had problem with installing a modem and it really gets me vented. So many times I had to install/uninstall the modem and it would not change anything. So far it's been three days and over 10 tries of installing/uninstalling the modem and taking it out. Boy this pisses me off.
  20. My Favorite Things:Surf around online downloading stuffsPlay online games for cashMess around with the Pocket PCBettas [fish]Running [Xcountry & Track]Watch rented movies from NetflixRead the thickest most interesting book I can get my hands onChat on AIMGo to fish store to buy bettasLooking at computer parts on Newegg and TigerdirectThat's the surface of my everyday life
  21. 3 movies hmmm....There's alot I like but I think these three deserve it: Minority Report: Gotta love the graphics and design. Very creative storyline. Who would've guess that anyone can come up with something so...different from most movies? The suspense is very good especially where the protanganist dropped his eyeball.... Lord of the Rings: Can't forget these unforgettable movies. Action upon action. Yeah! Though the movie was completely like the books, I gotta admit, the trilogy are some of the best I've seen. Cold Mountain: Dramatic, very sad, suspense. This movie is beyond sad, the torture and punishment that happened during the war.
  22. Favorite online game eh? That would be: Starcraft Brood War: I know it's old but its so...addictive . Gotta admit, you need skills for this game. Gunbound: Kiddie game I know but it can be pretty addictive sometimes. Need for Speed High Stakes: I know its old but with wheel/pedal it can be very cool. I remember I went head-on with a train...guess who won? Super Smash Bro. Meele:Entertaining and because I can own in that game. Warcraft III: Frozen Throne: I suck at this game real bad (can't even beat one computer one on one) but I love the cinema and graphic. Counterstrike:Who can forget the shanking and the sniping? Gotta love this game though I can't go online for some reason.
  23. I have many favorite books but here are some of the ones that I can remember: The Island of Lost Maps by Miles Harvey: Very intersting book on the life of a major map thief who got away with almost anything that laid before him. The Island of Lost Maps talk about life and its connection to the ancient world; something we don't see too often. The Odyssey by Homer: Classic books for almost all age categories. Every chapter has a purpose in it to predict the next event. This book is filled with actions, excitement, and honor. The House of Scorpion by Nancy Farmer: At first I thought this book was going to be boring but I sure was wrong. This book is about cloning and its evil for the other 'clone'. Filled with action and excitement on every page, your eyes will probably fail you before you finger stop turning the page. All of Redwall series by Brian Jacques: These series are really really really good. Action, romance, vengeance, teamwork, and many more are depicted in any of these books. Breathtaking and a page turner. In all my life I love to read since I was little. Books to me are the future, where even computers cannot replace. I've read many more books but ADMIN will probably shut down this thread if I keep on typing So that's it for now. Have a good day everyone.
  24. Well my favorite state would be California (not because I live here) because its BEAUTIFUL! The weather is perfect during spring, fall, and summer. The beach and mountains are only a short drive away. Any states with forests, lakes, and countryside are my favorites because city life is so...busy. There isn't a moment of relaxation.
  25. My ideal job is something FUN and that you would wake up wanting to work. Here are some of my choices:1) Anything computer (graphics, programming, etc)2) Neurosurgeon (about 500k a year )3) Biochemist4) Nuclear Engineer5) English teacher in Japan
