I myself have been doing wadoryu for the past 7 year and have earned 2nd kyu. I failed to pass for 1st kyu last year because everything had to be perfect and I messed up on some techniques.I noticed that some people mentioned a few belt systems I found rather strange. Ours is like this:WhiteYellowGreenBlue 1,2Brown 1,2,3Black 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.. (one of my masters is Black belt 5th or 6th grade I believe)
