  1. Hey, recently ive applied and been accepted for a host. Now, i set up an account and then tried to get to the access panel.. Didnt worked... I thought it might be because of my domain, so i got another 15 credits and transferred the domain.. Now, i try clicking on "cPanel Login", but it wont even open it.. It just says "error by loading page"... whats going ? ive lost 45 credits already :)

  2. Actually, its not even runescape2 anymore, its runescape3.. And, I hate the people who say " I hate the game, it has noobish graphics" ... No matters how beautifull the graphics can be, its always about the gameplay.. And, if u ask me, Jagex has messed up the gameplay more and more over the years.. ive played runescape for 3 years and I must say, I liked runescape more at the beginning than at the end. Jagex updated too much the be secure, and now they've lost alot of customers.. Bounty Hunter cant beat the wilderness in any view

  3. Hey, I'm going to put up a MyBB forum up on my host soon. Is there a possibility to transfer all the old posts from my current host -> Xisto host? Will i need to copy the whole MySQL database and paste it to the Xisto host? or can i just access the adminpanel and make a backup, then put that backup through Xisto.com up again?

MyBB: MyBulletinBoard (abbreviation: MyBB) is a freeware [2], visible source bulletin board system software package developed by the MyBB Group. It is written in PHP, using MySQL databases to store data

Hope to hear from you soon, Thanks!

  4. Hey, im currently searching for a new email service, since im receiving more spam by the day on my current one.. I need one with at least 100MB space, and MSN support.. I've already checked for google mail, but its just not build for me. So, does anyone knows a free MSN-supported e-mail? Im also hoping it'll support Outlook Express.

  5. Whats your opinion about cheaters? I, myself, often use cheats on games. I also use multihacks on multiplayer games, but I only use cheats vs. other cheaters, so it stays fair.. Im currently an active cheater in Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory. I only play in servers where an aimbot is allowed and i respect noncheaters (I used to play noncheat myself aswell). So, whats your view on cheaters? Do they suck, or do you respect them as long as they stay on their own territory?~ Greetings, Accure

  6. Get a AMD 3800+ or somethin similiar.. they're VERY cheap and you'll be able to play enough games. Also, get 2x 512mb memory.. You can always upgrade later (not that expensive).. 80GB HDD should do if you wont install games like Age of Conan (30 gigs). A decent graphicscard would be a GeForce 8400Gs or somethin near to it.. Good luck finding !

  7. Hey guys, im planning to buy a new computer.. I just need your opinions.. What system would you buy with a 800 euro budget?

-XP if possible (or empty HDD)

    -Duo processor or higher

    -2GB Ram memory or higher

    -800,- max

    -Without: monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam....

  8. Martial arts is for defending, and not for attacking. This means 90% of the movies aren't based on the thruth (those flying kicks and karate ninja's).

Judo and Tae Kwon Do as well as western archery, boxing, javelin, wrestling and fencing are currently events in the Summer Olympic Games. Chinese wushu recently failed in its bid to be included, but is still actively performed in tournaments across the world. Practitioners in some arts such as kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu often train for sport matches, whereas those in other arts such as Aikido and Wing Chun generally spurn such competitions. Some schools believe that competition breeds better and more efficient practitioners, and gives a sense of good sportsmanship. Others believe that the rules under which competition takes place have diminished the combat effectiveness of martial arts or encourage a kind of practice which focuses on winning trophies rather than a focus such as cultivating a particular moral character.
As part of the response to sport martial arts, new forms of competition are being held such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the U.S. or Pancrase, and the PRIDE in Japan which are also known as mixed martial arts (or MMA) events. The original UFC was fought under very few rules allowing all martial arts styles to enter and not be limited by the rule set.

Some martial artists also compete in non-sparring competitions such as breaking or choreographed techniques poomse, kata or aka. Modern variations of the martial arts include dance-influenced competitions such as tricking.

Some martial traditions have been influenced by governments to become more sport-like for political purposes. The central impetus for the attempt by the People's Republic of China in transforming Chinese martial arts into the committee-regulated sport of Wushu was suppressing what they saw as the potentially subversive aspects of martial training, especially under the traditional system of family lineages.[12]

  9. I hate the people who use programms like Game Maker and then say they've created their own game.. They can't code, nor design. If you use programms like Game Designer, the only thing u do is choose wich characters and how the map looks like, you didnt code or designed it..

    Design method
A document which describes a game's design may be used during development (often called a design document), although this is not the only way to design a game. Many games have been developed primarily through iterative prototyping which, depending on the type of game, can be a more appropriate way of discovering new designs than theorizing on paper. This was particularly true of early video games where the programmer was often also the designer and designs were much more constrained by technology, while at the same time new and ingenious programming techniques were being devised in parallel with the game design itself. In practice, some combination of forward planning and iterative design is used in the development of a game.

Iterative design tends to be more suitable for core game mechanics (or gameplay) where the emergent properties of the design can be very hard to predict. On the other hand, game elements such as story, setting, logical flow and level designs often lend themselves to being designed on paper, although almost invariably some unforeseen issues will arise that will need to be dealt with through a modification of the paper design. Thus, even a design document can and usually does undergo some kind of iterative process during the development of a game, either formally or informally.

  10. Fully depents on my mood... I like to play the old Scorched Earth (Dos-game) with my friends once in a while, but I also like firstpersonshooter games. For example, i can play hours of Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory with my friends without even having noticed the time that has passed...

But my main games for multiplayer are:

    -Age Of Empires

Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings is a real-time strategy computer game set in the Middle Ages. It was released in 1999, and it is the second game of the Age of Empires series developed by Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft. Because of its commercial success, an expansion pack was released: Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, followed by a Gold Edition, which bundled together the game and its expansion pack along with a bonus map and games recorded by Microsoft strategy experts.

    -Scorched Earth

Scorched Earth is one of many games in the loose genre of "turn-based artillery games". Such games are among the earliest computer games, with versions existing for mainframes with only teletype output. Scorched Earth, with a plethora of weapon types and power-ups, is considered the modern archetype of its format, on which the popular Worms, Hogs of War and GunBound games are based.

Its slogan, "The Mother of all Games," was coined in 1991, during the Gulf War, after Saddam Hussein threatened the U.S. that if they stepped on Iraqi soil, it would be "The Mother of all Wars."

The game has a wide variety of customization options from gravity and wind to money and meteorite showers, and a similarly large pool of different payloads, allowing for a large amount of entirely different situations.

In addition to the possible in-game changes, the text messages the AI players can display before firing (e.g. "I shall smash your ugly tank!") and before dying (e.g. "Join the army, see the world they said") are read in two plain text files, TALK1.CFG and TALK2.CFG, respectively, free for creative users to change or translate.

The weapons range from small missile rounds to MIRV warheads, and several are often seen in similar on-line games as almost identical versions. All weapons can be upgraded with tracers which allow the player to more accurately adjust the trajectory on their next turn. In addition to conventional warheads, there also are such things as napalm, wildly bouncing bombs and earth weapons, allowing the player to dump dirt on other tanks or to remove ground from beneath them. A tank which is covered with dirt has to shoot itself free and may get damaged in the process; one which falls from too high a level may be destroyed. A variety of utilities, such as shields and tank parachutes, add a tactical side.

The effects of many weapons are highly unpredictable, given that the missiles bounce off the walls, can be manipulated in their flight-path by wind, shields and guidance systems, and often have partially random effects. As the player advances in the game, he can afford more and more weapons, but so can his opponents.

The game can be played against up to nine other human players and/or computer-controlled ones. A broad range of differently skilled player types is offered by the program. If the player-controlled tanks are destroyed before the others, the AI-controlled players continue to battle each other, effectively turning Scorched Earth into a zero-player game.

There is also a similar game from the same era called Tank Wars and another on the Commodore Amiga computer system called Scorched Tanks. Tank Wars was made in 1990 by Kenny Morse, a year before Scorched Earth. Commodore also released a similar version in their educational software catalog called "Artillery".

    -Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (also referred to as simply Enemy Territory or ET) is a free multiplayer FPS set during World War II.[1][2] It was originally planned to be released as a commercial expansion pack to the popular FPS Return to Castle Wolfenstein and later as a standalone game.[3] However, due to problems with the single-player aspect, the multiplayer portion was released on May 29, 2003 as a freeware standalone game.[4] In early 2004 the source code for the game logic (not the game engine) was released to the benefit of its modding community.[5] The game uses a modified RTCW engine, itself being a modified Quake III: Team Arena engine (which has been open-source since 2005).

The majority of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory servers run various mods,[6] such as Jaymod,[7] No Quarter,[8] ETpub,[9] and ETpro.[10]

  11. Well... Its a heavy subject... why would you care what they play at your funeral? You cant hear it anyways :) .. But, I'd pick a sad song, like Halleluja from Jeff Buckley. Its hard to decide what music should be played at a funeral.. Somethin sad, but it should say "It's okay. Everyone dies sooner or later"

  12. I love sports, and im sure going to watch the Olympic Games 2008.

The 2008 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, is a major international multi-sport event which is being celebrated in Beijing, People's Republic of China from August 8 to August 24, 2008 and followed by the 2008 Summer Paralympics from September 6 to September 17. Ten thousand, five hundred athletes are expected to compete in 302 events in 28 sports, just one event more than was on the schedule of the 2004 games.[2]The 2008 Beijing Olympics will also mark the third time that Olympic events will have been held in the territories of two different National Olympic Committees (NOC): at the 2008 Olympics, equestrian events will be held in Hong Kong, which competes separately from mainland China.
The Olympic games were awarded to Beijing after an exhaustive ballot of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on July 13, 2001. The official logo of the games, titled "Dancing Beijing," features a stylised calligraphic character jīng (京, meaning capital), referencing the host city. The mascots of Beijing 2008 are the five Fuwa, each representing both a colour of the Olympic rings and a symbol of Chinese culture. The Olympic slogan, One World, One Dream, calls upon the world to unite in the Olympic spirit. Several new NOCs have also been recognised by the IOC.

The Chinese government has promoted the games to highlight China's emergence on the world stage and has invested heavily in new facilities and transportation systems.[3][4] A total of 37 venues will be used to host the events including 12 newly constructed venues. Earlier in 2007, former IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch had said that he believes that the Beijing games will be "the best in Olympic history,"[5] and despite the controversies that have marred the image of the Chinese Olympics, current president Jacques Rogge asserts that the IOC has "absolutely no regrets" in choosing Beijing to host the 2008 games.

So, whats your opinion on the Games ?

  13. I have a PC, and it's pretty much the best around.. simply because everyone has one in their homes .. And, on your PC you can put emulators on it

    For the noobies:

An emulator duplicates (provides an emulation of) the functions of one system using a different system, so that the second system behaves like (and appears to be) the first system. This focus on exact reproduction of external behavior is in contrast to some other forms of computer simulation, which can concern an abstract model of the system being simulated.

Anyways, PS3 and PSP look nice aswell, but just dont give the extra power that a PC has.. and u can upgrade a PC easily, with more memory or a new processor.. its alot easier than a PS3 or Wii

  14. Ive heard about windows 7, and im not really impressed.. the only this windows tries is to get as many people buying their new OS each time they release one.. they aren't actually improving anymore since XP, they're just taking it in a new style, and then sell for double price... Me, I'm staying with XP Prof... Im not upgrading unless i have to.. Microsoft should just stop producing and let Apple & Ubuntu take the lead.
