  1. Hey sunkist! You can easily do a 301 redirect by going to your another host cPanel (if its available), then go to Manage Redirects.Choose "Permanent Redirect" and supply your new URL that's hosted here in Xisto. If in your another host you dont have access to cPanel you'll need to look in your FTP client if there's a file called: .htaccessIf yes open it with wordpad and add this line:RedirectMatch permanent "Your old URL" "Your new Xisto URL (with http://)Don't forget to take the "" off. I hope i helped you.

  2. hey!

Sorry about the 404 error mate... i didnt get the file uploaded somehow..

i've made a 88x11 banner also which you can find here:

    88x11 Banner

I think the button suxs.. i'm not used to make such small buttons :(

btw im just curious but why did fre3 get a 88x31 banner if it's not about music (atleast if i dont see anything related to it...). Of course that he may be your friend or something.. so theres no problem on it..

Last note Karl.. i've droped a post in your shoutbox, though i don't know if you did check it or not. Now i CAN post a banner link in my link section. So if you want to go with this my 88x31 banner is here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

    Main site URL is: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

    Thanks , Dan

  3. Hey!Every cPanel comes with 3 tools of analog/graphical stats. Now i've never been able to access Webalizer and analog tools. In Webalizer everytime i try to access it i get this error:Webalizer stats have not yet been generated! How can this be if although i've changed my sub-domain to a domain it has been for 5 days... Doesnt webalizer update itself every 24 hours? In analog it lets me choose what month i want to see.. but  no month appears. I think though that it may need a complete month to show the full stats.. but thats really a problem.I cannot access the Stats Configuration page too... Everytime i try to enter i get a:You do not have permission to access this feature.error... although this are not major problems, they affect some tools that i would like to have access. So anyone knows, or can fix this please? Thanks,Dan

  4. Hey everyone! I'm looking for a good and nice statistics plugin for my wordpress site: Dan Spot I'm looking for a plugin that would show me the number of visitors online in this moment, how many posts/comments my site had, how many hits/unique visits since its start... I would like too to be able to see the stats from back-end administration and a nice stats tag to use in my template. :( Do you know any plugin to have some of its features? Thanks, Dan

  5. I know what you mean, I have that too! Very Often. But I thought thats what they call a 'Deja Vu' , its French. Meant litterally: already once seen..

Sometimes I am scared for this ' deja vu ' moments ! It is simply a strange and crazy feeling.  As a matter of fact I dont really know what to think of it. Many say that it absolutely has nothing to do with your dreams, but with your ' so-called previous lives '.  :( I kinda believe in that too I guess.. but nevertheless I'd like to get to know more about that ' deja vu ' - thing....

i've had the so called Dejavu lots of times before... it's really a weird feeling when in 1 second your mind is absolutely blank.. and you only think that: "I already lived this moment..."

It can freak you sometimes.. specially knowing that it didnt happen to anyone near you. Though it's not all bad.. it's really weird to have...

  9. hey!

DNS comes from Domain Name System, an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Because domain names are alphabetic, they're easier to remember. The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses. Every time you use a domain name, therefore, a DNS service must translate the name into the corresponding IP address. For example, the domain name http://www.example.com/ might translate to 198.105.232.4.

The DNS system is, in fact, its own network. If one DNS server doesn't know how to translate a particular domain name, it asks another one, and so on, until the correct IP address is returned.

    more info here:

    http://computer.howstuffworks.com/dns.htm

Next time you can just google it :(

MySQL are databases that keep for exemple users registrations and another stuff :P there are no mySQL DNS and i think its not possible linking a MySQL database from another host..

  10. thanks for all the suggestions! :PSo, currently, my main choice is dan-spot.comAs my blog is about the funny things of life.. i think dan-spot is great for me. But... i had a great idea meanwhile. idan.comreally it was an awesome domain.. but after going to whois. Already registered.. :(So everyone please.. comment about dan-spot.com and of course feel free to give your suggestions. help me cause i'm kinda in a dillema. :( Juts come here and give your try.. remember funny blog, photography gallery.. and a community. :(

  11. hey!there's been some time i have my site hosted here in Xisto.now i'm planning to get a domain name and of course continue to get hosted here. But lately my mind is all blank and i can't think of anything funny, cool and interesting. You know that type of domains you really need to visit. :(My site is about my personal blog and photography portfolio. I have goodies as downloadable wallpapers and forum signatures. I plan on setting up a somewhat community with photography subjects, site design and another random stuff. So the domain names i have in mind now are:
    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
    http://www.dan-network.com/
    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

    Now
as you may figured my first name is Daniel so as mainly the site is my personal blog and portfolio i think dan suits like a glove in my domain name. Now its grammar correct that you say Dan's Network. But personally i prefer http://www.dan-network.com/

    over http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Please help me in this dillema... I'm open to new domain suggestions. Please help :(
