    Hey Alex!!

     

    Well..You asked how to slice and stuff???

     

    1. click on the slice button in Web bar (under rectangle and pen tool text..etc.)

     

    2. Drag the piece of your lay out or image what you like to slice...like a rectangle....!

     

    3. You need to slice things so that if your page loads..it doesnt take soo long! if you wanted to exort to dreamweaver..than go to File...Export... and name it index.html (for example) make sure the extansion is html...and make sure your settings are:

     

    Save as: Html and Images

     

    Html: Export HTML file

     

    Slices Export SLices

     

     

     

    Thats it! :P If you?d like to know how to import it in dreamweaver let me know...im just a newbie with FW too but its just luck that I knew this.. :P

    Hi everyone!

     

    I think I got the virus Trojan Horse, I have a Norton Anti-virus, and he detected the thing!!! He says its in the system32 directory, but he couldn't delete it. Does anybody knows how to get rid of this sh*t cause think it lowers my inet speed! and comp. performance. Thanks alot!

    Hi everyone! :P

     

    I'm busy making a site with dreamweaver. I've made a lay-out in Fireworks, sliced it, and know about how to export etc. The point is, when I inserted the lay-out (Insert, Image Object, Fireworks HTML) I wanted to add text.. I read several guides and tutorials on the Web, but I still haven't be able to add text in premade white rectangles for example. I read some things abou nestled tables?? I have no idea... :P

     

    Could anyone explain me please how to add text !?? I don't come any further like this..

     

    If you know a great tutorial wich explains it all how to insert lay-outs in dreamweaver and add text etc..please let me know? :(

    Hey Welcome Lastlegion!

     

    You can quiet call me a newbie to actualle, but I can assure you you made the very best choice there is! You can learn so very much from the peeps in the forum here! I did! I started my website with almost no knowledge of html and javascripts etc...but know I know so much more!

     

    Anyway, welcome again, learn and have fun!!!

    Hi!

     

    I'd like to make a guestbook with a cgi-script I found at Lissa Explains it All. There were instruction bout how to install this gbook: click here

    Unzip the file, you'll find 4 separate files:

     

    guestbook.cgi

    mail.gif

    url.gif

    readme.txt

     

    1. Open guestbook.cgi in a plain text editor like notepad. Find out your path to perl from your Web host, and change the first line to reflect that. The default setting, #!/usr/bin/perl, usually works for most servers. If not, you can try #!/usr/local/bin/perl. Save your changes.

     

     

    2. Create a new directory in your cgi-bin (or whatever folder you're allowed to run cgi-scripts in) called "guestbook." Chmod the permissions to 777, or if that doesn't work try 750 or 755 (you can find a chmod tutorial here).

     

     

    3. Upload "guestbook.cgi" into the new directory you have just created. Make sure you use the ASCII mode or it will not work. Chmod the permissions to 755.

     

     

    4. You can run the setup program by accessing the script from your browser.

     

    For example, if your cgi-bin is at http://myDomain.com/cgi-bin/, then you should type

     

    http://myDomain.com/cgi-bin/guestbook/gi?action=setup

     

    into your browser, press Enter and follow the instructions.

     

     

    5. Once you reach the Control Panel you can find a link that offers extensive help if you need it. You can reach the Control Panel here:

     

    http://myDomain.com/cgi-bin/guestbook/n=control_panel

     

     

    6. After you've installed the guestbook, you can access it using this URL:

     

    http://myDomain.com/cgi-bin/guestbook/guestbook.cgi

     

     


    I came to point 4, but when I tried to run the setup by accessing the cript by browser: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

     

    an error occured... I tried changing the CHMOD permission to 777, 755, or 750 but nothing seeme to help. When I type the link showed above, erro 500 or 405 occurs..."couldnt find page http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/... yadah yadah yadah"

    Maybe It's a bit difficult explained, but if you do understand, can you help me with this????

    I haven't got really one religion, but anyway. What I think about taking an abortion is:You shouldn't do it because you should have decided before f**king the guy if you want a baby or not (so use THE pill or a condom!!). BUT !!! If it's does happend, and you know you CAN'T give the baby a normal and healthy life, I think you should do it for the baby's sake! I mean, if you keep it, but you let it die of hunger cause you can't buy em food, or give him love, I think that's worser than the abortion itself! I don't say those things like: it's not a human being when it's in you tummy, or anything like that...But if you know you can handle adoption, I think you should do that first then thinking about abortion. But how many times do you hear kids have so much '?dentity' problems because they found out their parents aren't their REAL parents? I mean, that's not a thing to be happy about either...OR LETS JUST SAVE ALL THE TROUBLE, AND USE CONDOMS OR PILLS AND BRAINS BEFORE F**CKING A GUY.(if a girl has had involuntarily sex with someone, and a baby was a consequence, I think it should be possible for her, she didn't ask for it right?)This is a very diffivult subject to discuss about, and I respect everyones opinion. I had this subject at school many times, and people still don't really agree...Understanding... it's difficult again..

    Wow, I think its great you can make money with something you maybe didn't knew you could make! I mean, if that someone hadn't bought the program for you you maybe didn't know you were good in making those logos! And its very kind of you that you share it with others!Bet you don't make logo for free anymore huh? hahaha tooo bad if thats so, I need a logo for my site!!Succes with what your doing anyway

    Ok...im not sure how to feel about the lovers to friends situation.

    The girl I am with now...sometimes we argue so bad we break up, and the second I suggest we be friends, because I would still like to talk to her because she's a great person, she flips out...she tells me she can't do it, but i think if she cared for me as much as she says she does she would do what she can to still be in my life even if it is as just a friend. I think she's my half but we're so much alike that its sometimes bad for us because we get to the same level of anger...

    I just don't get whats so bad bout just bein my friend

    I have a boyfriend for 2 years now, we argue all the time...and once i just got tired of it and said i couldnt live like this anymore. I do love him, and i dont want him out of my life. I suggested too still be friends, cause i care for him. He had somuch problems with that! I couldnt understand.. But finally he 'accepted' it. But he started calling me all day...and just say things that lovers do and not friends...he made me so confused. Now...a month later... we are back together again...but htings still hasnt changed..and I feel sorry for that. we still argue but he is very careful cause he doesnt want me to leave him. and i love him..

     

    still i also dont understand why being friends is so bad? It seems like everytime you suggest that, they already think they loose you orsomethin....sometimes being friends can make the relationship better, because you're probably meant to be friends, not lovers...

    I would like to belive that lil_chris knows not to insult but instead lil_chris made an promise to revisit Nani Cheri's site once the English version is complete. It's hard to truly understand the "emotion" attached with our posting words. Although the post itself was out of topic (and yes that's part of spam) no one really cannot stop from making a comment.     Hi Everyone!

     

    I'm making a website: ----> Nani Cheri <---- I was wondering if somebody knows how to put streaming video's on your website, but so..that it loads on the same page while clicking on the link! I used <embed> code fot the frontpage, but I'd like to have a sort of playlist of video clips!

     

    If there is a code for this, does anybody knows where I can get it???

     

    And, if you visited my website...(which is UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION!!) and in dutch language too (but I'm changing it soon in english)....Feedback is very welcome, i only learn from you!

    it's not really for people's benefit. It's to make them conformist and bored, and you forget everything you "learned" 2 weeks later anyway. Only a few things once in a while help you. You have to hope to get a good teacher, not the usual crappy one.

    well if you forget what you learned after two weeks, you did something wrong! And besides, its almost everytime so that when you are doing thinks things you learned that has to do with what you doin, pops in to your head..spontanious...

     

    school is important if you hate it or not, you need it: if you haven been at school ...you couldnt read and understand any of Internet so be happy it excists!
