It depends on what you use the computer for, if u play games maily, i think win98 is the most stable, if u do office works, win2000 is the best choice.i'm using winxp all the time now, I dun know if it's really stable or not but I'm kind of people who like to try and play with new stuffs

You should ask yourself first, what do you want a portable for? If u stay at school all day, that's a good choice but if not, choose a console, it's far better than those small things
