  1. Guitar hero is pretty cool. I have been playing guitar for the last 15 years or so and feel pretty good at it. I tried playing guitar hero after watching some people playing it and figured that it would be a piece of cake. Not true. I imagine that if it was a real guitar that was plugged into the game then that would make a big difference for me but I guess that is not the case. Maybe one of these days that will happen. That game your talking about sounds like a cool concept. I think that I will have to give it a try. Gotta kill some extra time one way or another!
  2. I have quit smoking a couple of times but realized that I get bored without figiting with the cigarette. When I am at a loss of words at a party or something I find it helpful to light one up. I have also learned in a study that if you quit smoking by the qge of 32 that you body can totally rid itseelf of the chemicals that come from cigaretts. I do not know if that is 100 percent true but I guess I can go with that. If I can quit by that age after smoking for that long then I guess i will be doing pretty good. It is such a great feeling to get that first inhale after waking up or working out. Guess that does not make much sense though. Oh well.
  3. For you musicians. Protect your hearing at all costs. I learned (not the hard way) that when you listen to loud music with no hearing protection that you start to lose the high pitch in your hearing. You do not notice it but when you equalize music you start boosting the highs to get that nice crisp sound but you are actuall overdoing it. Someone might think that it sounds fine to them but when you hear it it seems like it needs more treble. That's not your opinion. That is your hearing loss. Also headphones are terrible for you. You may really appreciate a high volume but it is not worth the long run consequences. Once you lose it you can not get it back.DO NOT BE STUPID! You will be sorry!
  4. I have not quite understood the eating healthy thing I guess. I started gaining a little pouch after being lean my whole life. Guess I took it for granted and got lazy. So I started fasting a little. Instead of eating whatever I started only eating one normal meal per day and making sure it was a healthy one. I was told that that is not good for me, but the pouch seems to be going away. I just eat little and make sure that the little diet contains no fast food or anything equivalent to it.
  5. Every morning I get up and run a mile(jog). It gets me the energy that I need for the day. Beats drinking numerous cups of coffee then running on low a couple hours later. Also it keeps me fit enough so I don't feel weak or like my work day seems to be dragging on from being physically exhausted. Also good way to keep a six-pack going on. The one thing I have to stop doing while I am jogging is smoking cigaretts. They don't really go hand in hand if you know what I mean!
  6. Stephen Colbert! Just kidding. I say Obama.
  7. I hope so. I'm new here and I've heard good things so far.
