  1. Since it is still in the beta stage and released just weeks ago, companies still do not support it. As of now, stepping up from XP to Windows 7 will be up to the user. If you like to tinker with the OS and learn how to use it, then go for it, If you have no time to find out how things work, then stick to XP for the meantime. I, for one, changed from XP to Windows 7 because I was curious if it is better than Vista since Vista lags in comparison with XP. (It took Vista longer to load on a better computer than XP in a crappy one.) Also, I thought of reformatting my HDD because it was really messy already with lots of stuff that I do not need anymore. If ever something arises from Windows 7, I'll just backup all my files and reformat it to XP again.

  2. Link please.Although a 7 inch cellphone is nice, the practical use is very limited. Nowadays, some phones can access the net thru Wi-Fi which is nice. Since these types of phones are usually 3G capable, it will most likely have a good video display which begs to question why would someone need a bigger screen if the battery life would suffer. I think that just making a normal 3G cellphone with Skype and Wi-Fi would be enough. Also something that big would not be easy to use.

  3. RAM is relatively cheap nowadays, and as much of an advocate as I am that the operating system/software shouldn't dictate what you need as opposed to what it has to its disposal to utilize efficiently, you might want to throw more RAM into your system to catch up with the times, not to mention run your other programs more efficiently and have an overall better computing experience. (There's a pretty large difference between having 1GB of RAM and 2GB of RAM... trust me. :P )

If I were to buy more RAM (I have 2GB in my disposal right now), I would want to make the most out of them. I would prefer to use a low RAM consuming OS rather than a high RAM consuming one given that both can run the same software. I think the best bet for XP to retire is to not create good software for XP and fully support any new Microsoft OS.

  4. depending on what your plan provides you. But I think any plan here gives you at least 1 parked domain for free. You could also see how many parked domains you could have just by looking at the left side of the cpanel. There should be a bar labeled parked domain and the number of allowable parked domains you could have.

  5. If you have an existing domain name, you have 2 choices. Its B or C.Now, you cannot understand what B or C means so:Choice B: You want to transfer your domain from a different provider to Xisto. Example: You hosted your domain from GoDaddy, but you saw that Xisto has a better pricing for the domain so you would like to change from GoDaddy to Xisto.Choice C: You already have a domain and would not want to transfer it to Xisto. I think this is the choice you wanted because you already have a domain name. What you did was the right one. If your domain is , type *** at the second edit box and com.cn at the third. If you already have the hosting, just change the nameserver of your domain to point to the name server provided by Xisto.I do not know what the nameserver is, so if anyone knows, please reply. Thanks

  6. I would prefer a paid anti-virus rather than a free one in terms of security from viruses. But because I am cheap, I use free ones rather than the paid ones just because they are free. I have used Trend Micro's and Sophos in the past but both of them are paid. (I used the license from my father's office) After awhile, my father told me to just use a free one since free anti-virus are popping up like mushrooms. From that point on, I used AVG and it is the best for me. (It has the interface that I was comfortable with) The best anti-virus would depend on the user. For me, AVG is the best free anti-virus.

  7. I've just installed Windows 7 and the first thing I noticed was that it uses way more RAM than XP did. I have not yet reached the 1GB mark while using XP for just surfing the net, but in Windows 7, it's just 10-30MB short of reaching 1GB, though it is understandable that Windows 7 would use more RAM since it has some features that XP does not have. I still cannot say if I would buy Windows 7 if it were released, but if it were to use lesser RAM, I think I would definitely buy it after it releases.

  8. I want a quiet and peaceful death. I would also like to be able to still recognize my loved ones, since it would be quite sad to die not knowing who is who. If that is denied of me by fate (or God), I would like to die due to sickness. It would be sad to die just because someone was careless enough to have an accident that included me.

  9. Well, I personally think that ideas come first before opportunity, though sometimes an idea does not produce opportunity. In a business, a great idea is usually the start of a great business. This can be further proved by looking at some of the profitable companies, both big and small, around the world. Sometimes, it takes an idea to give people opportunities to get rich. Though sometimes, a great idea is not enough to make a person rich. It will also need a great deal of good management to be able to be successful in business.Opportunity can sometimes work its magic on its own. If an opportunity knocks on your door, you must grab it or else you would not know when other great opportunities might come by you. For me, in order to be really 100% successful, you need both a great idea and a great opportunity as two of the main ingredients to a successful business or work.
