Hey, I hope you don't mean that seriously! Sending a 500M (!!) email is not only stupid, but also rude, to all the other internet users. Can you imagine how much bandwith you occupy with such a mail? Not mentioning that almost every SMTP server (where the mail goes through) would reject such a huge message, if not it would try to send it to another and most likely fail, resulting in a HUGE amount of bandwith and server load simply wasted...Another thing is, that emails are 7bit coded, so the thing grows in size - if you send an 300MB attachment, you're in fact sending over 400MB...!! You just have to realize that the email service is NOT meant for sending files (in fact only sending a 64 kB email is guaranteed to succeed (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2821.html)), for that there are designed OTHER protocols (FTP, SCP, even HTTP etc.) For the start, I reccommend http://www.skizzle.com/...

As indicated, you need a default access page to avoid that visitors see your entire directory structure. There are a few names you can use, like; index.htm - index.html - default.htm - default.html - home.htm - home.html etc. This can be your main page or it can be a access page to direct visitors to specific directories. Most, if not all browsers just have to be free, otherwise noone would use them (I can't imagine a feature which would be really worth paying money for it), especially when looking at the concurrency (IE, Firefox, Opera (despite the banners it IS free)...)I stick with Opera...

Yep, I've installed Wordpress just a few days ago...so far, I like it a lot, it has lots of features (most of them I probably won't use ) and you can easily customize it with design templates.Yet there were a few things that simply didn't work correctly after installing (although the install is easy), so I had to manually modify some parts of the PHP code... nothing critical, though.Also a very nice thing are the "expansions" available on the net - I've found (installed and modified ) a script that allows you to post articles by sending them to a special email adress, but also with images (or other files) as attachments! So now I can take a picture with my mobile phone, write a few words and publish it on the web instantly 8)The second thing I've added is a (though partly incomplete yet) WAP access script to the weblog, now integrated into my WAP page...
