The latest one is: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ skt 754 giga-byte GA-K8NS pro 1024 MB Kingston ram DDR400 80GB Seagate SATA hard drive HIS Excalibur Radeon 9600XT 256MB X-blade Case http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (the silver one) Lite on DVD rom Lite on CD-RW floppy drive... ohh and i changed a fan so i had some red in the case...not just blue :wink: Running a dual boot of WinXP PRO SP2 and Linux Red Hat (fedora core 3) Thats bout all i can think of.... ohh and i have an old tandy 1000 that still runs maybe ill take some pics sometime and post em on here .

I want to get an AlienWare Laptop and put every possible upgrade on it that i can, I dont care of it ways 10 lbs or what, I want it to be able to do everything as good as or better than what most desktops can do. Especially gaming, I want like 2gb(1gb x2 sticks) of highspeed ram

I am a linux "noob" as well. I just installed the new red hat "fedora core 3" and found it very easy to set up. I chose it because of the "64 bit" version. Hoping to optimize my new 64 bit 3200+ athlon It also comes with (as im sure most others do) a great boot loader called grub. Install windows first as when u install linux the boot loader will find both os's then. To set up the dual boot just pick the one you use more and away u go. You have a few seconds every time you turn on your computer to press a button to load the secondary OS.hope that helps ya

I am wondering should I sign up for a diploma in Telecommunication or Electronic.Which one of these is currently in more demand. I like computer network and computer secuirty and playing with satellites but I also like robotics and programming.But I can learning some of them as a hobby, so which one should I take more seriously Telecom or Electronics.I don't see a bright carrer in Electronics its too advanced currently I haven't seen many jobs for Robotics, Microcontroller programming or chip manufacuring but have seen a lot of job on computer networking, satellite development.What do you think?
