Yeah thats the eternel problem with some noobs. They have a discussion on another board, are kicked out, register here, continue the discussion here without any explanation and causes the regulars immense frustration.Unfortunately that's likely to increase after the collapse of XWH.I think the admins and mods should consider some strategies to prevent it.

Don't get me wrong. I completely agree. What you say is all true, but I feel that the Gmail has the potential to become a much bigger problem. If you let your email account lapse the information will deleted, or at least there is no concerted efford to collect the information from all your email accounts and consolidate it. That appears to be what google tries to do. Provide you with a mailbox, big enough so you never need another one, and all the emails you ever send and receive will be stored in their database for eternity. Imagine: 30 years from now, the government accuse you of being a murderer or terrorist or hacker or whatever!!! They don't have any proof but it wouldn't be to difficult to get a warrant to check your Gmail account and all the old emails you didn't even remember you wrote, suddenly comes back to haunt you. You may never have written anything you shouldn't, but it would still be easy for them to find emails that "prove" that you already 30 years ago, had a bad "character", thus conciderably weaken you defence. Or maybe, when you are gone, it could be used against you children "see, even their father was evil". It is the staggering scale for potential abuse, in the future. that worries me and as time wear on the potential for abuse skyrockets. I dont need a 1gb mail account, I just want to check it out for my self. Since I don't have one, I rely on third party info to keep me orientated! And we have all been teenagers. 'Who cares about tomorrow I wanna live today'. That tends to change once you get children yourself and start ponder what tomorrow will look like for those kids. But thats too late - unfortunately!

Nice idea about the outer glow for the text. :DAbout the globe, that's more difficult. It's on the same layer as all the other tech stuff, and if I turn the opacity down on the whole layer, then the other parts are more difficult to see, and the text is too emphasized. I tried putting another copy of the globe directly over the other one, see what you think.And thanks for replying.

thanks!!haha i tried to think of something to use with the pic/links for christina's back, bsb's, willa's, and eden's crush's page (a.k.a. my 4 main idols/inspirations --to whom the website is dedicated to) .. so i thought i'd put there pix on "pop-up ads" and people could just click on the "pop-ups" to go to their pages. i hope that's not confusing to you guys.. but YES -- those "pop-ups" are clickable along with the "BSGECWF folder" on the desktop. cuz if you put your cursor, for example, on xtina's pretend "personals/date pop-up ad" it'll say "CLICK HERE FOR CHRISTINA AGUILERA!" (if not, it should) -i thought that'd be enough for peepz to know that that are is a clickable link to each of my idols' page on my site. ... then you've got the affiliates, forums, etc.. buttons on the desktop taskbar -but that's not too hard to figure out.oo ye, i've been wanting a logo for sucha long time but i keep putting it off to make one and plus when i go try to think of one, it doesnt look okey to me. but i'm still thinking up what the logo could look like. i might post here with previews when i think of some. --thanks for that idea!
