No idea about the XML, but you can write the " and symbols in php using " and escape sequences. The /, <, and > symbols don't require escape sequesnces, meanign you can just put the symbols in.

My personal opinion is I hate Dubya (Bush). I also get the opinion (from the media) that Americans seem self-centered, and can't take a joke. I hate to say it, but I think Bush ruined your public look. I don't hate Americans, I just dislike those who either make irrational assumptions about other countries, or make fun of another country and complain when they're made fun of. Now, I say this as a Canadian, and I consider myself a person who's a fairly "live-and-let-live" guy. Bush gives me the impression that he wants to play God, and he doesn't care about any other nations.

The basics: The two most important functions needed to create a site in PHP are include() and echo(). Echo will print its argument to the document, including html code, and include will include another document. For example, echo("<b>This is a message</b>"); will print "This is a message" (without the quotes) in bold. And include("header.php"); will include the header.php file in the current document. That's going to require the Javascript XML page request object, which is VERY advanced and takes a while to learn. I can't explain it in a post.

Well, there's no integrated forums. But despite the lack of a forum (which I'm sure will be added soon), it seems like a pretty good CMS. After all, PostNuke doesn't come with a forum...you have to download PNPhpBB2 and install it. I wouldn't be surprised if Zentri did the same thing eventually.

Yeah, I'd have to agree on the TV series. However, the HG2G book and radio series are AMAZING! I cannot emphasise enough how funny those books were. I read them a few years ago, and convinced my friends to read them, and we all love it. Douglas Adams is one of the funniest authors I know of. However, the last 2: 'So long and thanks for all the fish' and 'Mostly Harmless' aren't so good, along with the Dirk Gently series. Aside from that, they hold some of the funniest scenes ever, and I still love reading them.3 words - Best. Book. Ever.

I am a self-confessed Star Wars geek (Star anything geek for that matter). I'll admit that they may not be the best sci-fi movies ever, but they are easily the most influential and popular. Return of the Jedi is my personal favourite, although the Clone Wars is good for eye candy in the battle scenes (gotta love that Yoda duel scene too).Episode 3 is going to have loads of stuff to fill in, should be interesting.Also, are Episodes 7-9 planned? I know they were originally planned and there are 3 books set right after the 6th Episode, but are they going to be made?

I'm afraid I had to go for windows (XP or Longhorn). As much as I'd like to join the Linux club, I have to go for the one that runs all my software no problems. This definitely excludes Win9x/ME, which are evil and should be cast into the fiery pits of hell.I would go for Linux if I had the necessary skills to program in all the things I wanted, but I can't. And don't get me started on Mac...

I missed the sign-up period of G-Mail, but I wanted to sign up. At the moment I'm on Lycos UK, which I like, but I've got accounts in about 3 other places too. Also, POP3 e-mail is good: unlimited storage, use any spam blockers you like, privacy, etc.
