It really matters on what type of song that your going for. I mean, one of the bands that I'm in *not The Stand* is a jam band, so we play a song for 17 minutes, without as much as anyone aproaching the microphone. But my main band, The Stand, is a Prog-rock band, which is all about telling stories, so unless we use a ton of effects to the song, alot of it comes vocally. But me being a songwriter, I would say music.

It's nice to see a band who puts out music that mean something, instead of dollar signs. I have really gotten into them recently, even though they don't fit into any genre that I usually listen to. They are really good.

I think before American Idiot they were fun and cool but they jumped on the "political message" band wagon and this one is too serious and sucktacular to compare to the old good stuff.

At the time none of my bands have anything on the web, but my main band is going to have a record out late first quarter/early second quarter of this year, and when that happens, I'll get something online.

They stepped out with American Idiot too much for me. I am a religious Green Day follower, with every one of their albums, but it's really hard to take everything on American Idiot seriously when the bands name is based on a period of 24 hours when they almost died by getting high on marijuana.

They're so contradicting. They try to dress gothic, act punk, their music is pop, and they live the rich lifestyle that they're against. If it came down to music, and they lost all their gimmiks, I would enjoy them, but as they are now, no.
