erm. Microsoft had nothing to do with the rise of the internet. The Dept. of Defense and the people working on Mosaic had far more than Microsoft. Then add to that that a a majority of internet servers are UNIX or Linux running Apache not Microsoft Server running what ever proprietary program they use. Oh, also, it was the folks using UNIX that developed TCP/IP, without which there would be no internet.

I'd suggest checking your local library. In their computer section they may have linux books that include distros on CD-ROM. I was able to get Fedora Core 2 and Red Hat 9, along with a book that that helps you get started.

The host i tryed for b for FNH u had to post 100 b 4 u could apply, and they had a good thing goin on, people that just wanted to use the server left, and dedicated people stayed, i made it up to about 85 posts, and gave up... but if fnh keeps going the way it is, i might go back and continue :?

There's an easy game creator out there, it doesn't make top quality game but the stupidity of the games might entertain your guests , you can make games like city jumper, which can be found at albinoblacksheep.com for a preview, I'd say it's a good game, I'm sorry to say I cannot remember the site to get the creator nor the exact name, but I'm sure if you search "free game creator" on google you'll have no problem locating it.

I didn't like the movie. They made WAY too many references to scooby doo, and it seemed more like a comedy than anything else. I saw it with my friend and at the end, I appologized for taking my friend with me to see the movie. It was so bad. I thought it would be better, but yeah... guess not. If you haven't seen it, I would suggest waiting till it comes out on tv. At least then you don't have to pay for it.

I can't wait to see the Ring 2, cuz then they will come out with the origional one on dvd. I have been waiting to see the origional for the ring 2 for some time now.
