If you don't the the TOS - then don't apply. MP3 cause of MPAA cracking down. It's impossisble for admin to check every MP3 to see if its legall, so easier to ban them all. Anything else is fine as long as its legal

I agree with Lord Seth Horror Sequels typically suck hard. I wasnt all that impressed with the Ring, but perhaps they will change things around this time.

I hate to sound stupid, but what exactly do those sites do?

I don't mind swearing myself. I swear occasionally myself (heck I listen to RATM), and think it is a good non-violent way to relieve stress.

if your using IPB version 2.x you need to import the skin templates and images first in the Admin Control Panel (ACP) and choose it at the drop down skin chooser.

Another way this could be done is by implementing a "Karma" system that other webboards use (I think UBB and YaBB have it and IPB has a form of it), where admins and mods can raise/lower a rating everyone can see. There exist a couple mods to do it, but all the ones I have seen allow users to adjust other posters karma. I wrote one that only lets admins and mods do it, but I don't think I have the source any more.

I don't think so, but if you want to see one, I would suggest spending a night on the R.M.S. Queen Mary in Long Beach California. There is at least 1 ghost sighting per month on that ship.Go to http://www.queenmary.com/ and check it out if you don't know what the queen mary is.

Has anyone attempted to play this yet? I heard that when it came out it was really buggy and required alot out of people's comp. I am Sims fan, but don't want to go through the drama.

Why the ban on audio files? You should seriously consider changing that. Are files that feature audio (videos, flash) banned? Also, are are .zip files allowed?P.S. From what I've seen, this is an awesome site. (800mb?!?O_O)

first, try to search if there is a converter for SMF to IPB. If there is none, you'll have to code it by yourself. =)

I would really rather that people didn't swear at all. One of the reasons for this is because many parental controls for the internet will find the swear word and block the site.

Not for me. On my main e-mail account I have 500mb of e-mail. Again I like the conversation feature in Gmail. It makes it rather like a webboard conversation so I can easily check back through a e-mail exchange to find a relavant piece of information. Formatting isn't a big deal for me because I use the pop and smtp services so I can format my messages in Mail and send them. And I believe yahoo's pop forward still cost money.

Well, if you didn't reply to the administrator's topic before the server-switch, then you'll have to request hosting again, but at the moment, there's a bug in the new server, and that's why none of the free accounts are working properly.
