  1. Microsoft is here to stay. As long as their OS is easy to use and the average day person knows how to use it ( average I mean normal ) then Microsoft will dominate. We are taught to use Windows OS in schools as well, and Windows is used for almost every buisness now... so why fight it?

  2. MSN will keep on getting more and more add-ons, as will everything else on the net. They will keep adding useless stuff that seem's cool at first, but then you realize... WHO CARES? Why not take all that time and effort into like.. stoping hackers and actually making firewalls that work?

  3. My name is Darker333 and this is my first Suggestion post!

Well, if you want to ENSURE activity, then my suggestion is to really set up a meter that says how many credits you need to avoid a certain day period before your account expires. Now, let's look at this:

Current after Package 2: 21.6 Credits

    -.something per day.

To keep your account alive, you need to stay away from the 0 by posting and when you post a lot of a long time the counter will stop going down, depending on Admins approval. When the counter reaches 0.. BAM, you will get a 3-5 day notice saying you need to activate your account by posting!

This would be a great way to know when you need to go on and have a 1 hour visit each 2 weeks to ensure your activity here!

  4. I have a long story.. one of epic proportions, advertures, and other cool made up stuff :o

I was browsing and then it began... I decided to look for a good website host, so I searched all of the pages in google. When my options ran out, I was about to sign up for free MSN Community hosting ( sad, huh? ) Then, I decided to look for free Cpanel hosts because my friend said those are the best! *wink* As the results went in, there was a 4 link group on page 566, and it was called Xisto. At first I began to cry because 150mb and 5000 gb bandwidth and NO FILE SIZE limit, it was just... wow! Then I saw this posting requirements.. so I began to get into the community, and I don't think I will be leaving anytime soon! Besides, it's nice to chat with you guys..

  5. Hello, I am Darker333! I plan on moving to out west to seek an animal-related job, maybe at a pet store, animal hospital or zoo. Or perhaps as a wildlife biologist working for the Parks and Wildlife division. I've always wanted to live in a quiet place in the country where I can observe wildlife and compose music without having to deal with a lot of people. I guess it wouldn't hurt to also mention that I'm a born-again Christian.People always thought I was a nerd, but I can't help it; I'm autistic. I think differently than most people. I find that most of my peers like to do what others of my age do (such as watch sports and listen to loud music and stuff like that); but I choose my own path of life. I don't like sports or loud music, I like things that most people consider trivial. I dislike people who have a closed mind. I have always been trying to find the appropriate woman, preferably one who shares my interests and goals in life. I hope I will someday (I have met potential candidates).I have just moved away from Lake Mary, where I lived from January 2002-September 2003. I moved to the northern Dallas area in Texas in November 2003, but I still want to move further out west. I've always been an animal lover throughout my life. My other interests include science-fiction and languages of the world. As you can see, I tend to use () (parentheses) a lot. I guess I just like to add details of what I'm saying.I have 9 flying squirrels, a prairie dog (which is considered a squirrel), and a ground squirrel as pets, which are described in my table below, as well as in my pet page. I've kept pet rodents (mice, hamsters, gerbils, rats) for eleven years, but sorta gave up on them in favor of squirrels. (Yes, squirrels are rodents too). Also described in the table is Browntail, a gray squirrel who I've befriended when I attended UF. I am surprised that so many people take squirrels for granted. There are many reasons why I like squirrels, but I'll just say they are such fascinating creatures. As mentioned above, I don't listen to what is thought of as "popular" music. The type of music I'm interested in is instrumental New Age and World music. One of my favorite artist is R. Carlos Nakai (a Native American flutist). I like music that is relaxing. I don't understand how people consider rap to be enjoyable. Here are instrumental groups and composers that I like which I can think of at the moment: 1. R. Carlos Nakai 2. Tangerine Dream 3. Ottmar Liebert 4. Angels of Venice 5. Dead can Dance 6. Future Sound of London 7. Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumble Well I hope everyone learned something about me, because I am not going anywhere for a long time.. Until the world ends :o

  6. Yahoo and Google, a competition that has been going on since Google began expanding and invading the net!

Yahoo obviously feels threatened that you can now get a 2.098 gb account by going and getting a Google account, and that will drive away a lot of buisness since now you don't need an invite to get the accounts anymore! ( Note, the invites still exist at large numbers from 6-200 invites ) Think about it. Word spreads fast and soon the modern day, social people will get to know about Gmail and will rush to get an account after all of the "Its so quick and safe", and "2 GB big, YOU WONT EVER run out of message space" and the famous "Gmail as a Hard Drive!"

So you see, it's another chapter in the industry battle field. Yahoo is basically giving the people more so that their ammount of users per day dont go down and transfer over to Gmail. ( I would prefer gmail until something bigger comes along, which wont happen any time soon )

  7. PC gaming, die? With newly developed Video Cards, monitors and Pentium 6 Processors in development for public use, WITH hundreds of game companies, big and small AND the unlimited possibility of the internet. PC games die out? I think not!

Microsoft makes an average profit from its gaming pc department, and you can't forget Steam powered, epic games, and all the Japanese RP- well, that's more Ps2 when you think of it! PC games will only die when the CPU systems/MAC systems vanish and the hundreds of PC companies decide to give up a billion dollar investment :o

So my point? PC games are here to stay as long as the CPU exists... from the basic Snake game to the new, high aged online Matrix games!

  8. I personally always leave my computer on 24/7 and I have a good job *cough* so I dont worry about electric. ( I have no TV BTW im an out door person )I know it kills electric bills and that it heats up the computer alot. So, if you are willing to do it, before you sleep reset pc and when you wake up, turn it off for 20 min while showering to give your pc a rest. ( leave window open, or a fan on near the CPU )You can reduce the risk of worms and viruses by leaving on anti spyware, firewall and a virus scanner and let the programs do a scan between 2am and 4am while you are asleep.. well, depends on WHEN you sleep, lol!

  9. Hello, this is my first post in this part of the forum. ANYWAYS, I am having troubles installin Adobe Photoshop CS and Imageready CS.I have purchased the software from Bestbuy on a special sale ( I live in the USA ). Each time I try to install it, it ways that my cd key is invalid. I have read over it carefully, and I have attempted to change some of the characters that could be a U or a V. Also, I have lost the receipt to my software purchase so... im sort of in a stuck situation. If anyone has any methods of reading the CD-Key so that maybe an incorrect char. will be fixed, then please post it..Thnx in advance.

  11. Hi! Im working on a little HTML project for myself and am teaching myself.. So I would like to know how to set roll over effects and a short guide on it!What I mean is, I would like to know the code of making the mouse over on links make the links go red... Or if anyone can give me a way to do it on frontpage, because I cant find it!Thnx in advance!

  12. So, my question is why do we need to post? I mean I can see how it is required to make sure the people who use the hosting FOR FREE are good users, educated, and well behaved! But I know there are more reasons, like each view of an ad is 50 Cents to the host?If an admin or mod. can reply to this ASAP because I have alot of questions after this one!

  13. When you get VBulletin for all these servers, people will demand to get skins... of course they will turn to the host for some but they also cost money.. then again some are free. Also, since the license is expensive, if this place were to have a special offer with vbulletin, they should charge the person for it..Ok, so I personally think its a bad idea :)
