  1. Im voting for Longhorn, Micorosoft have this last chance at it, and I think they're gonna manage to pull something off thats major with this, they have the money and they have the developers, I believe strongly that they will manage to make this very secure and very efficient, Micorosoft have learned a lesson, they may loose there browser but they arent gonna lose an operating system battle. And Ive never been a mac fan anyway.

  2. I actually have faith in them, its there last real chance to shine through on the desktop market, Longhorn will be special alright, security etc will be much improved and red screen is just a tweak but Microsoft wont die easily and will take one last stand, and they *might* just do it. And heres my reasons why linux isnt a viable alternative *YET**Most people struggle to click, they wont understand what init and kernels are*/dev/hda1 will confuse too many people*./configure isnt as good as an exe :(* Its a lot harderIf linux could clean up a bit to make it so, the underlying stuff is gone then it can keep up, otherwise, Microsoft will keep the lead a lot longer. But saying that, I love my fox, and wouldnt switch back.

  3. Yes Firefox is rated extremely critical right now but 1.0.4 is ready just about ready to ship.*Plays Back to the future 3 theme (It relates, its like the cavalry charging in, mozilla in this case) But UMO (update.mozilla.org) has been changed so that one of the two patches has been nullified right where it stands so the warning arent as high as people claim and Firefox will still get to the top! Better to patch often than once a year like IE!

  4. To tell the truth from a windows user, who hasnt always liked apple, it looks rather dumb, it seems to add a lot of junk to the table that just isnt needed, but then again ive hated mac for ages, I used a mac after using an old BBC thing and I liked Windows a lot more than either, My windows install has been stable for six months and can stay on for 6 weeks withough fail, and no blue screens of death yet! So mac doesnt seem so stable to me, and although ive seen people swear by them, I'd rather swear at them, the UI isnt helpful to me but I then I have my own opinions.

  5. Thats actually plag by copying it, and thats against the Xisto rules, please dont do this in future as it may end up in you loosing credits and maybe your hosting if you dont have enough credits. Also you forgot to include a link to the actual site for the skins :(

  6. Its not their job. Their job is to give you the tools to stop it, update your scanners, scan your computer. You cant stop a computer virus, the I love you virus is still going about but all virus protection software knows about it. So I wouldnt rely on them stopping it, just put up some good protection

  7. phpBB 2.0.14 is NOT modded, it is a vanilla install, none at all, its just phpBB not a modded version, no different to the rest of the 2.0.X series.Clustered? uh huh, how long did you spend with it? Theres a line between power and bloat, SMF provides power at an acceptable cost, wait until you see phpBB 3, youll see what clustered means :( and youll learn the meaning of bloat.....Hands up who likes frames?SMF 9/10phpBB 5/10
