It seems to me... all the common rhythm based games (DDR, Guitar Hero)
have a freeware computer counterpart (Stepmania, Frets of Fire).

I think now we need a freeware game that allows you to play the keyboard
like the drums.

Think of how many damaged keyboards there would be...

Yeah, I checked out a video with this and it looks awesome. When, I get my laptop I am for sure getting this. There also is another similar game called Guitar Zero.

I have Frets on Fire, and I like it a lot. My biggest problem with it though, is that there aren't many songs available for it (at least not ones that you can find easily). It doesn't have the huge contributing community that other rhythm-based games on the computer (such as Stepmania) have.

If you're interested in FoF songs - I recommend searching the largest torrent tracker. (No this is "legal" , if not remove my post...)

I have a Sony Ericsson Z610i (Blue). Kinda 'girly' you ask me? Yeah - I DID want the Black one but since I got that mobile for FREE why shouldn't I take it? Rather that blue thing (girlything) than my old Nokia ;DSo yeah... I want the iPhone with more features... Or perhaps just a hacked iPod Classic (or whatever those small things were called...)

i recommend safari or opera. opera sometimes gets screwed up, but is a pretty good browser. but safari is my favorite. and now the new version works with windows, so thats good. its in beta testing, so its not completly stable, but i have been using it for about a month and have no problems with it. IE7 looks coolish, but sucks terribly, along with all other microsoft products.

Seriously - There's a REASON Microsoft has such popular usage of their products - Because they're GOOD! Stop denying it already.

Just get Firefox or something more commonly used (I don't think you mentioned what you were using so I'm GUESSING an unupdated version of Internet Explorer etc).

Yeah! I went to https://www.000webhost.com/...It was a piece of CRAP!
I filled out all of this false information (Using Google Maps)
I had them try to send an SMS to the Rejection Number (I know, hysterical eh?)
Well, after 2 days still no reply on making the site go up manually!
They said that it would be about 24 hours before they would try to do so!

I've signed up for the site and I DO trust them with my information 100% - I signed up with my own mobile number yata yata and i got the SMS in about 5 seconds from I clicked.

So you should REALLY not complain! I'm infact evaluating to move from Xisto to 000Webhost as they've proven really stable and functional for a while. And yeah I'm sorry if I'm "ditching" the forums again lol, but seriously it has been little to no activity where i'm interested.

I listened to his BioShock review awhile back and it was genius.
I'll probably start going there to look at his reviews before buying any games.

Honestly these 100 reasons are all TRUE , But... As true as they are - I'm not really getting that "oh I need to get Vista right away!" feeling.But yeah my Desktop computer runs Windows XP Professional and my Laptop came with Windows Vista. I can't say it's that bad. Goes smoothly with 2GB's of RAM.

Looking to eventually migrate my hosting to Xisto.com. Right now it is hosted by another with limited options. Anyhow, I have been creating a Comic book oriented game.
After some testing & feedback, The creation of the game is on a brief hiatus. I am looking to resume again in a slightly different direction (allow for multi-player).

And OK people I have to admit - YES - The RECOIL has been 'softened', I've played both 1.6 and CSS a lot, so I speak of more experience than the average user here which seems to just have started on ONE of the games.

The 1.6 and Source 'Wall' will always be big , some fanboys just won't turn over to css because of the huge difference (yes I can understand that, it totally is!) and others think it's a "nooby" game. But a LOT of GREAT players have gone to CSS, and everyone I know likes it in a way or two! Don't DENY THAT CS: SOURCE IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER MADE!

I think of it this way - Let the 1.6 people STICK to 1.6 - And let us Source people STICK to Source. That way no one will be pissed off at anyone, War Solved.

By the way; You 1.6 gamers heard of CSPromod? It's a newly released Source Modification to make Source more 'OnePointSixy' (1.6 like), the graphic effects are almost gone which leads to one hell of an FPS rate improvement, and recoil yata yata has been made more 1.6 like. Not only that - THey've even REMADE the Maps to be just like in Counter Strike 1.6!
So give it a try, after my last time I played it it was in Beta - But wait a while I think this is gonna be great (despite the REALLY buggy beta version).

Coding the SIMILAR topics was another pain for me.. But I hoped, it definitely helped people to find their favorite topics.
If you check any other forums, they will not have more than 4-5 Similar topic listing. Besides, the algorithm which they use is a bit different and the one I use is different. It also makes the Similar topic listing very FAST + About 30 similar topics would be shown :-)

I am coding even now but these are done to improve our site rankings and help our content reach the people on the web. They will not be visible to the members, but you can be rest assured that OpaQue is working his butt off for Xisto in some corner of the world having a high Xisto Fever.

A bit "big" text (seems rather stretched) on the buttons, and the site layout is a bit messy.I would advise to not post Flash Movies directly on a site unless it was f.ex in a menu to the movie, as it's always annoying having tons of youtube video's spit across the MAIN site.Most of the services were "down" or "shut down" as for exploit reasons etc. Understandable - But atleast post news about it etc. People might worry about it so give people a heads up more than the "single" page with default shutdown reason.

Hey all, thanks for posting. I appreciate the advice. I hope everyone continues to post (and encourage others to do so also). Its very cathartic for me to discuss this with people who don't know me. You all are like indpendent arbitrators. Anyways, to continue....I think I am gonna take Tiki's advice....just lay it out for her one last time....I was thinking of doing it in a letter (I can't text her anymore for awhile after my pathetic display of text assaulting this week) and she won't answer a phone call. I am not gonna call her work cause that willl just piss her off. THe only time she has been kind during this whole ordeal (the only crack in her arsenal) is when I basically left her completely alone for about six weeks. Now that I have been texting her again (and then saw her on Friday) I have been going overboard. I thought I was more ready to be friends with her than I actually am. And TIki is right about another thing. It is obsessive. It's torturous. I do have OCD, but I don't take meds for it. I don't believe in them and I have never taken them for an extended period of time. I have always been able to beat my obsessions eventually, but I feel like this one is different because its a person. I know, logically, that if I've beat obsession before I will do it again, but that doesn't make it any easier to get through the day. I don't want to f*ck up my job or fall behind in my bills. I have alot of obligations that I cant afford to screw with. Anyways, what do you all think about sending a letter....what about coping strategies in general. I find my mind wandering to things we did together. S*it, I lived with the girl for the last three years. She was (not my whole life - because I have tons of fam and friends locally) but she was the main focus of it. I feel trapped and hopeless....I just want to be over this so I can move one...I have so much guilt....

Hey man, a letter would maybe work out well.

It's not annoying her on the phone (either TEXT MESSAGE or a CALL), and it's more "personal" than a simple SMS or you calling her to talk about serious stuff like this.

Try make that letter the work of your life, and hope for the best.

 

Still - After all the things she say to you / try to keep you away - Do you REALLY REALLY need her that much? I know it's *BLEEP*! And moving on is ... Tough times, but if SHE WON'T STILL take you back after trying this hard , you must move on somehow.

It could take years, it could take months, it's all up to you.

Now it's not just to *SNAP* the fingers and say "Ok! I'll move on" because I know what it's like. (I'm still young but love hurts... <'3)

For me a CMS is good only if it's relatively easy to make a site done with it, look like it were not. I mean, that you don't identify at the very first glance you give to the site that is using an especific CMS, Joomla in this case. I always hated CMS because they gave wings to lots of irresponsible webmasters that make sites with no purpose or value. So lots of unncesary ugly sites arose, all with the same prefabricated modules. I don't really know if Joomla is that way, in that case I wouldn't be interested.

There's just waaaay too many "default" php cms sites with the same damn layout and not even any stuff on it.

 

However JOOMLA is quite unique in my opinion, it lets you CHOOSE to install "default" data ( I Recommend this if you're new to the CMS ) or to leave all modules and settings BLANK, for you to set up on your own.

 

And there's tons of more good looking themes / templates, more addons, more "support" to get with it than many others.

It's also voted for "Best CMS of the year". (Or was it another prize?)
