I already set up one at http://www.forumer.com/. They actually had a choice between phpBB and IP.B. That was way before I came here. I was more familiar with phpBB so I took it. Both were free, though. Argh! If only I had known!

I dreamt up this crazy thing a day. How about everyone has little generators by in their drains, drainage pipes gutters and even incoming water sources? Since they are so small, and powered by running water that you are finished using, they will be quiet, plus you no longer have to pay for electricity bills! Also, chimneys can be placed over your stove. When a kettle is boiling, electricity is generated! Here's how it works:The generated electricity is sent to one place and stored in a capacitor.(At first I thought battery but most electronics need AC, right?)The current is sent to a fuse box and breaker like a normal setup!Erm, One problem though. Most appliances require 60 Hertz. Its hardly likely that they will generate at that frequency. Does anyone have suggestions?Lol.

GMAIL IS OBVIOUSLY the best in the universe - its easier to integrate, you can transfer from your old account plus you can sign up for google apps where you get something like yourname@whatYOUwanthere.com. There is chat already on the page with your contacts, plus if you have slow connections you can you can have a basic html view, unlike fancy ones like live mail, aol and yahoo, which work ridiculously slow. Inbox.com offers 5GB only for United States, Canada and United Kingdom residents, with only 2GB for other locations, which wont work for me because I live in the Caribbean. Gmail, now, on the other hand, is almost 3GB (and counting) for any part of the world. Gmail's size (for each person) increases by 8 bytes every second. You can specially mark some with stars and do all the usual stuff as with any other. plus you can view info, invite people and so on. There is a calendar and document reader, your own avatar, photo uploads, and , unlike yahoo, which wastes time attaching files, the file attaches itself while you type. that is cool. so, don't take my word for it, you check it out!

Gmail has the best spam filter in the world, with all the features you could want. TO AVOID THIS BEING INTERPRETED AS SPAM please check my other post under the 'email' section. but in gmail, if you gave your address to spammers, and it shows up in your inbox, just click, mark as spam. when you're ready, in the spam box, you could just click delete all spam messages now and kapoosh - all is gone. plus you can report abusive spam.

Gmail is my favourite. Tags, Stars, and how the files attach themselves while you type your mail, unlike yahoo, and they do not take as long to upload. you can search for mail too. It's not so fancy, but it comes built-in with chat, invites, and the greatest spam settings, even normal mail goes in the spam folder. PLUS you get almost3GB of storage space! God forbid!

FireFox is the best. You can change themes, get toolbars and all different add-ons. Give this open-source program a shot. higher speed and everything. better than internet exploDer and Netscape Navigateintotrouble.
