  1. Wait... Im confused. How do I calculate how many credits I have if it only tells me how many days I have. Or is how many days I have the total amount of credits I have. Or is ther like a formula like Days Divided by 2 and add One. Im just getting so confus-ed because I need to get my site up and my current storage space is .04 mb smaller than what I need to start with well get back fast and see ya
  2. I use Linux mostly because it is my server forr irc, and I have to interact with it cionstantly so that I can use diffrent applications on it to help support my website (which by the way is .04mb to big to install lol) I use Windows also because many applications are made for WIndows and it has an okay gui. Macs are just used because they have supieror graphics. But they are also used because most people think that no one has a mac so they are virus free. (Tangent Alert) I got a Dell, 80 gigs, XP Home, and I tried to run defrag, but it said I had to run chkdsk it said that i had to restart my computer so all my apps weren't running. So then it runs before the OS boots up, and everyone time unless I cancel it, it just restarts and goes into a loop. (End) So my favorite would have to be Winux, its Linux with a windows emulator
  3. Well if I ever heard of a OS based on the search engine, the biggest thing I would think first would be that I would be able to search my computer faster. So I wouldn't really think that I would buy it. I mean really I might go for it, if it was linux based. That way I could have a server. But i dont think that I would buy it.
  4. IMO firefox is one of the best web browsers, after installing the right patches it can be amazing. But it is a draw back also because not all web programs support "NETSCAPE" web browsers for windows. Somehow it gets the impression that its a mac explorer though. I would perfer the internet explorer on mac, than ibm, because there are no viruses for macs, because mainly the ibms are the dominant computer. NOw i've gone off onto a tangent. Heh. Here are my prefered web browser on the biggest OS'sLinux - KonqerorMac - Internet ExplorerWindows - Mozilla Firefox
  5. Look at your status bar, and see what its doing while your loading gmail.
  6. Yes, I can't wait until I get my copy. The Sims 2 was a big step up from the Sims 1 program.
  7. Windows Longhorn isn't ready to be released yet, as it need superior graphic cards just for the operation system. Also rumor has it that when it is released, both the new graphics card is out and the terabyte hard drive which optimizes it's performance. For those of you that don't know what a Terabyte Hard Drive is, a THD is 1024 gigabytes on just one drive. Plus it will most likely need the new celeron chips as they are faster.I know all this because i got the 4074 release and the graphics took up all my Virtual Memory. It mainly Windows XP with a better interface and graphics. The rumored realese date was this year. But Microsoft says that it wil most likely come out in 2007, hinting also when the terabyte hard drive will come out.
  8. Hey all, I hear that google got infected from a virus. Anyone that was trying to look up information on google, it would just take you back to the homepage. One of the first things you have to notice, to make sure you dont get infected. I got infected heavily. Appearently when it put me back on the google homepage, it downloaded a virus onto my computer and now it's in the shop.
  9. I believe that there are aliens or were aliens out there. I mean if we can be out there so can other life forms. I mean, if they didn't how did we get the idea of them. Im a big believer, but not in cropcircles. I think that either they are complex and are observing us or that they are more primordial then we are, and are in the early stages of exploring space. Even if aliens don't exist, they exist for a cause to discover the unknown of space. If we never had Star Trek, or Star Wars, or any thing to do with space, we wouldn't have any motivation to explore space, and it would seem as meaningless as it was 100 years ago. Sure the shows may be fictional, be it shows that no matter what our diffrences are we can always come to an understanding. SO either when we are ready to greet them, or they are ready to great us, they'll still be there. If we didn't explore Mars, we might not have known that rivers had once ran over the barren lanscape, and that the planet could have sustained life in it's early stages, and maybe what happened to Mars will happen to us. 10. I can't believe that they cancelled Star Trek Enterprise, I thought it was a great addition to the Star Trek Saga. I mean, they are cutting it Three Seasons short of the regular 7 Seasons per Series Tactic. I say that we continue to support Enterprise and show our dedication. A normal episode of STE costs about 3.1 million dollars. A season costs ab out 32 million, in US denomination. What a substantial amount of money. But wouldn't it be worth it to save Enterprise.I SAY SAVE ENTERPRISE http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
