i wanna say that it is nice skin but a few things need to highlight,

 

- url bbcoded links cant see in proper(whether it's a link or not)

e.g. Xisto <-- this  one not look like a link in first look beccause of no underline nor color changes..only when mouse over.. may be need to tweak in css. so if somebody like me wanna talk the way like just speech flow(without showing url), it's not so convenience... perhaps, showing url straight is not allowed by free hosting TOS, if i'm not wrong..

 

- secondly, missing cursor pilot ahead in textarea; which mean i cant see my cursor in text pad when i m writing because of textarea beckground is dark navy(nearly black) and the poor black cursor is hiding behind

 

that's for now.. pls dun mind to make changes, thks..

I've finally got my website up and running only now I'm having so many problems online that I'm thinking about chucking in the towel.... I'm hoping someone will be able to give me some ideas on what could be the cause of my probs with some simple solutions...

 

I'm having problems accessing many pages, my browser seems sluggish.... posting on this site has been a problem, getting "page unable to be displayed" , but if I press refresh, it then accepts my post..... I can't get into my cpanel at all....

 

in an effort to solve these problems, I decided to wipe everything this morning and reinstall the master cd.... then I installed my dialup ISP, (using CD), seemed to install OK, until it loaded to the internet, when it then wouldn't load up my ISP homepage.... it just crashed....

 

I've since managed to get the homepage but it's taken many attempts....

 

I went into Windows Update to install critical updates.... it wouldn't install any of the securiy updates... I tried many times....

 

I tried to get into TRAP 17, buy it just wouldn't upload up the pages.... just seemed to get stuck.....

 

However, and this is the puzzling thing, I managed to upload Google pages and Yahoo pages without any problems at all....

 

I only managed to get into TRAP 17 because I checked my mail at Yahoo and had a PM for this site and clicked on the link and it loaded OK....

 

I've no idea what's going on ..... is it a fault with my ISP or is a browser issue or is it my system that's the problem ???

 

I posted about this issue the other day, (when my problems had just started), and somebody suggested it could be my browser and I should download firefox or something similar..... thing is I don't know for sure that it is the browser that's the problem plus, how do I do it..... will it affect my ISP, do I have to let them know.... generally haven't a clue....one thing I do know is that I don't want to make things worse by my lack of knowledge....

 

I'm fairly PC illiterate so if anybody has any ideas could you keep it really simple for me.

 

I've sent my ISP an email outlining the problems I'm having, but generally, they're pretty bloody useless, so I'm not holding my breath that they'll be able to help.....

 

I'm hoping you guys will be of more support.....

 

God, this is a novel ..... sorry, I'm just trying to give you the full picture.... if anyone does have any ideas, maybe it would be better to email me as I don't know if I'll manage to access the boards again....

Know Whats Weird Is That I Had That I Got A Whole Lot Of Spy Ware Stuff Ran a Scan Got 2000 Bugs and i deleted them all and it started to work again. I Got It Once Befor Two It Just Went Away On IT's Own It Might Be Spyware,virse,ineternet provider or just a slow comp. I Really MA kinda lost on This Matter Two

I like the new  theme of Xisto althought it is pretty hard to be used to something and then be forced to change (even if change is a good thing). It would be a great ideea if you could give us the option to select the theme maybe even have more then 2. Anyway the new theme is nice and I will get used with is even it will take more time...

Well, I've been thinking, I'm good enough to get into a clan, but no one is recruiting, and the ones who are, expect too much of you. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to start a clan with me.  My screenname is .::Shadow::.. Well Any Online Game Is Going To Suck With Cheaters I Know That Even In Stock Maps Cheaters Get In Thats Why I Like Hostimng My Own Server Or Play On Servers With Anti Cheats On It. I've noticed that music, creativity, entertainment forums are "No Post Count". Now I can understand, you dont want somebody to post a 4 page essay and get credits for it. But there are a lot of serious critquing (sp?) going on in there, that deserve credits. I come to this site, and Music, and Creativity are two subjects that I can comment on intelligently, and originally.

 

With the others forums, I'm just saying things that people already know, since my knowledge of computers and technology is late, or fundamental. And since the point of the credits is to post 'thoughtful' and 'important' posts, worth peoples time, this is my suggestion:

 

When people post in these forums, the posting credits don't get added. What happens is, it is send to a Mod, who then decides how many credits should be given to the person. Example:

I post a 500 word essay, and then like 2 40 word sentences asking for responses. Instead of getting 540 words worth of credits, the Mod sees that the 500 are not actual posting, and I get 40 words worth of credits.

 

Now I understand that this would be very tedious and actual modding work would be interrupted to deal with these posts. Now there could be a special group to handle this, like 4 people for each forum, and whenever they get time, they check the group inbox, and deal with that. It doesn't need to be instantaneous, but eventually should be done.

 

The people posting about music and movies deserve just as many credits as the computer people. Since they are coming to Xisto.com, and doing the same as the PC people...

Man CS IS T HE BEST GAME/next to Medal of honor but hey my friend has a tape of this guy beating the whole game in 3 hours and shows you what you have to do and stuff and where hinden things are i don't have the link but my friend does hit me up on aim and i well give you his aim name. my aim is PuNkSoWnU202 so hit me up and i can get you set with the game video now i just don't know which it's for but i beat we can find it for the Counter Strike you have i believe you have the 1st one just plain Counther stiker right? because i believe tahts what he has. yah but really it doesn't take much loading time 2 run a differnet skin mabey 1 sec or so but not much and for how many more people post it would work i know i would post a lot more than what i am doing now, now i am just posting to keep my site up but with that i would be posting for the heck of it cuz i am not board i get board of this skin really fast so thats why i really don't post much i beat about 50% of the rest of the members are the same way. yah i think that there is a rule you can only try once and the quize thing is built in with the forum making it easyer to have a quize every month and for your question of what it would be on it could be any thing teh admins want to add. It's all up to them in the end but i think every one would kinda enjoy it and besides it's not enough to last them a month so they would have to still post but not as much. because of there smarts.-WaT-X-killer out

Ok My idea is to make quizs and if you pass it you get 10-20 cridets depeding on your score. I really think this would work because i like it on other sites and it's easyer for members to make cridets at a fast pace but have to know things lol.
