hi, i am trying to install ipb v 2.2.0, but when i go to the url where it is at (after i went through setup) i get this error: So i dont know whats going on. if some1 could help, that would be great.

acidify is a complete idiot! Overview: In part 2 i will describe how to set up no-ip. no-ip is a simple way of hosting a private server and it is most commonly used. if this does not work, there is another way i will tell about in part 3. part 2 and 3 are short, yet effective guides that are aimed at helping you! If you are not sure if it is working, it is probably because you have not read part 4: Port Forwarding Chapters: Chapter 1: What is No-ip? Chapter 2: Initial Setup Chapter 2 Section A: Creating an account Chapter 2 Section B: The DUC Chapter 3: Config Chapter 3 Section A: Server related Chapter 3 Section B: DUC Related Chapter 4: Finishing up Chapter 1: What is No-Ip To start with, No-Ip is actually a company that provides DNS for your Dynamic IP. They work with private servers because when the address is typed in, it accesses your computer and ultimately the server. however, if you are worried that you could get hacked via this, that isnt possible because no-ip only accesses certain things, its hard to explain, but it works and it wont hurt your computer. i have used this method for hosting before, but it did not work on my new computer. i do recommend it because it is more sought after and more popular. this can also be used if you have a website hosted from your computer, but i am not going to be talking about that. if you have any concerns, please post. Chapter 2: Initial Setup Section A: Creating an Account This is very strait forward. go to http://www.noip.com/ and click sign up now, which is located to the right of the login box and the left of the domain search. Fill in the form and click accept (you might have to activate your account). after you are signed in, you can create a DNS. once you are logged in you are directed to a page that will have this side panel on it: Click add under Hosts and Redirects. You will see this form: Fill out the form and press the "Create Host" button. if you are wondering what you should have in the drop down menu (default is no-ip.biz) choose anything with no-ip in it. also, the only thing you actually have to fill out is the hostname box, everything else is either prefilled or does not have to be filled out. Chapter 2: Initial Setup Section B: The DUC Now we need to download the DUC, or Dynamic DNS Update Client, allows you to control your server ip. to download it, click on the Downloads tab on top of the No-Ip.com page. The only download there is is for the DUC, so just select your operating system and download it. after downloading, run it and set it up. you now have installed the DUC. After the installation, the DUC will automatically start, it will ask for a email and password, give the email and password you used to sign up for the website. after logging in, it will check for your hosts. there will be a checkbox next to it, check that and the smiley face should blush. you have now set up your DUC. Chapter 3: Config Section A: Server Related Not much to talk about, except setting up the port. this is relatively simple and will take a couple of minutes. open up the folder where your server is located and open server.java. search for 43594 and you can replace that or keep it the same. other commonly used ports are 5555 and 4545. Save the file and exit out of it. Chapter 3: Config Section B: DUC Related well, i basically explained everything that was needed in chapter 2 section b. if you have questions, post and i will answer them, and if it is reoccuring, i will post the answers here. Chapter 4: Finishing Up Now that everything is installed, it is still not ready to connect (unless you dont have a firewall which would only apply to mac and linux users, hopefully not windows users). in part 4 i will explain the last of connecting. this will be release today or tomorrow for sure.

it doesnt work that way, you have to apply for a copyright. and you are not guaranteed one either. so putting a copyright on your paper is falsely stating that it is copyritten. you could however say that it is pending, but you cant say you have a copyright on it, you could get in more trouble than if they caught you cheating.

First off, i will tell you my feelings. Saddam was completely guilty of war crimes, should have been genocide too, and Iraq is 10 billion times better without him. hmm, ill have to check that out. i know that msn has their messanger online already on a different page, but i dont think they will put it within their email client, that would be too much. they are pretty much the most popular messenger besides aim. however, i do like msn a lot better. but im gonna check on gmail and yahoo now, thats for pointing that out.

i have never really liked phpbb, i just used at first cuz it was the only one i knew of, but now i know better, so i use smf and ipb.

well that is what you say is the best, but you dont even provide links for the programs, making me doubt their abilities (except eclipse and photoshop). link might be a good idea and what os' they support.

i will tell you what smf is, only the greatest free forum around! it stands for Simple Machines Forum. its extremely simple to learn and use, and you can code everything your self if you want to. the support is great and if you need codes, then just goto http://www.simplemachines.org/community/ and look around there. its one of the greatest free forums. the only reason i am switching to ipb is that it looks nicer and more proffessional to me.

well, i have never personally seen UFOs but some people my grandparents know have.here is what happened. i guess on multiple occasions, some of their cows were mutilated, but there were no signs of dragging or anything, its like it just plopped down. The cows had their utters cut off, one eye missing, their tail and nose cut off. yea, sucks for the cow, but they swear it was a UFO. so i guess that i some what believe and hope that there is other life because other wise it would be kind of lonely, but i guess we wont know for certain for a while.

Ok if you are a air re-fueler or something of the like for the armed forces, then you know what i am talking about. but for those of you who dont, this is what a KC-135 is (and a review according to my experiences). Ok, to begin, a KC-135 is a large air refueling plane used mainly by the Air National Guard (US) or maybe by other countries, i am not quite sure. They are large, but not as big as a C-130 (that is a large cargo plane). The KC-135 is a large refueling plane used for long distance fueling. Recently, i had the priveledge to ride in one via an organization i am in. The design of it is great, it has a side cargo door, and is able to carry cargo if needed. The internal height is about 7 feet high, with about a 13 foot width. its body is light weight in order to carry large amounts of fuel, it looks bare. an appropriate comparison is to a 707 passenger plane. The boom, which is what the plane getting refueled attaches to, located at the back, is the farthest back thing. the boom can extend to about 15 feet and can move all around in order to accomodate for turbulance and other factors while flying. It is controlled by the Boom Operator that lays down on a platform type seat, like a small bed with a chin rest, with 2 other similar seats on either side. While flying, i had the opportunity to see them refueling in mid air and watch them connect and everything. let me tell you, it is quite a sight. next comes the Auxilar Power Unit (APU) and the oxygen supply. the APU is the generator on board, it starts off loud then quiets down. The oxygen supply is straight forward, it is a housing with about 20 oxygen tanks encased. Next comes the crew/cargo area which obviously holds crew or cargo. It is compiled of a table with 4 cloth seats (they are pretty comfortable), and about 30-40 jumpseats (netted seats supported by metal bars, not that comfortable especially if you have a bar up your behind), then a bunch of cargo space. After the crew/cargo area, there is the latrines and the cockpit. Now onto the cockpit. Its pretty large, it seats 5; 2 pilots, an small extra seat, a communications (com) area with a seat, and a power guy. for my flight we had the 2 pilots and a com guy. the cockpit is quite impressive, large circuit breakers, an amazing control panel and various other commodities. The control panel is set up like a commercial airline plane, but with a few more features. i had the honor of sitting in the seat by the circuit boards while landing, its awesome. Now onto my review of the plane. its not like a critizizm or anything, just my thoughts. The boom area was amazing, to see the planes connecting and refueling was beyond belief. it was set up like a video game, except in real life. when the plane was connected, it was like 48 feet apart, but it feels like 48 inches. all i can say is wow. it was completely unbelievable. the boom operator was a nice guy, funny and just cool. The crew/cargo area was plain, it was, as i said before, barren and full of jump seats and a couple containers. not much to say about it except for the view from the windows. The view was breathtaking. you could see the wings and sometimes the ground (we were about 20-30 thousand feet up, it varies depending on our clearances). the view above the clouds in great, you can see how big they are, although most of them were flat, but there were some huge ones. then onto the front windows. from there, you could see the engines and most of the wings. that was a sight. huge engines and huge wings, sometimes they would flap like a bird's wings (this is normal, they are very large and extend out very far). i cant describe how amazing the view was. Next is the cockpit. it was full of gadgets, screens and a whole compliation of other things. the pilots were funny and really experienced, making it an easy flight. like i said, i go to sit in the cockpit during the landing, that was like a roller coaster, but not in a bad way. it was sooooooooo cool. it was an amazing sight also. i seriously cant describe it, its just a thrilling feeling. Now onto my feeling about the flight. well, the take off was great, i could see out the windows and everything, it was awesome. then once we got to cruise altitude, all there was to do was look at what the boom was like then stand around and check out the view. then i started to chll in the *BLEEP* pit and listen to the radio (as in communication radio, not the music one). that was fun for a while, but then came the exciting part, seeing the airplanes refuel, it was breathtaking. as i said, you were about 48 feet from the other plane, thats really close. Well, those are my feelings about that, and i would love to try that again, which i probably will. i just had to describe how awesome it was and tell about my experiences. hope you liked them. below are pictures of the KC-135 and a C-130 to compare. ok, this happened to me. first off, go to your firewall uner program exceptions (or the equivalent) and look for msnmsgr.exe and and make sure there is an exception for it, if there is, make sure it allows it full access all of the time. if there is an exception and it allows it full access all of the time, go to windows firewall and either disable it or make an exception in it too. if this does not work, it is because your files are corrupt (this happened to me) just delete all your msn messenger files in your Program Files folder (located in My Computer/C:/Program Files) and install it again but from scratch. if that doesnt work, try just using the online version.note: this is under the assumption you use windows, if not, then just go to the equivalent

well, this girl in my english class, shes amazing. shes an athelete, shes beautiful, and just a great person. and all of those qualities make me want her badly. of course there are the girls that are just plain hott, but shes different, shes got everything. and i like that. but im not so sure she likes me, i mean, we talk and all. but i dont get to see her much, and i want to hang out with her in the summer, but im going to be gone and working a lot, so that sucks badly. so i kind of want to at least secure a friendship and maybe have her as my gf. and from what i hear, she is prude, but honestly i dont care, i just want her so badly. the other major problem is that we are from different "groups" and in high school, that means a lot. shes kind of a popular girl, but not the most popular. and i am kind of in the group right below that, but ik that if she rejects me, i will get made fun of, which would suck badly. but if she said yes, i think i would be the happiest person alive. but wat is great is that she does seem to like me a bit, maybe not to the point of being my girlfriend, but its not a complete shut out. we talk a lot during class, mainly cuz i sit by here. and boy is she great. i cant really describe how i feel, its just something that makes me wanna go up to her and hug here all the time. she is simply amazing, and i dont know if it is better to just get her aim and so on or go for the gold, some advice may be of help. because i got the balls to ask her, but im not sure if i should.

well, if you dont want to download anything, go to fantastico and look at what they have for forums and check that out. they usually have some good stuff, however, i am not sure if fantastico is working because i know they had some issues with it before.

from that response, i would say she likes u as a friend but not as a gf. or she likes you but is too shy to admit it. i would just hang out a bit more, then after a couple weeks or a month, ask her in person (this is important, girls think its better if its in person) and if its still a no, then she does not like you that way, and just wants to be friends, or she is trying to save your relationship because she knows that if something bad happened, then you 2 might not be friends anymore, so its always good to consider all of the possible outcomes. because she may be looking ahead and seeing that it wont work out (girls have a remarkable ability to do this with relationships)
