  1. I live in Norway, and I'll rate it 7/10. The reason is that it is a very safe country to live in, almost untouched by war, and with a healthy government; but it is a country where I can't live out my dreams, and I can't get the education I'd like. There are good things and bad things about every country, but overall I like Norway :P And I LOVE the winter with minus 25-30 degrees celsius :D

  2. There has been alot of argument on this and a large number of topics about Vista, but the thruth is, you can't really know what is real, and what's fake anymore. When it comes to security there is no doubt that Windows is a platform tortured with hackers, crackers, and virusmakers, and therefore has problems with safety. It is true that Vista has more securityproblems than XP, but it usually takes atleast one year after releasedate before they can tell what to change, and what to do to make it more secure. XP, Vista, Linux or Mac OS X... What to choose? That is a question alot of people ask, but there is only one person who can deside what to use, and that is oneself. Don't be afraid of going with what you feel; just be shure that you are prepeared to face any consequences.Good luck to you all, nomatter what you choose, and have fun :PSincerely, lihuyt

  3. Hi everybody here at Xisto :P

This is a subforum about Alternative medicine, so I think some resources about this topic should be in order. Therefore I present to you all a couple of links to online resources about alternative medicine, and I highly recomend you to post more links (with short explenations), and give feedback to this thread.

Wikipedia - What is alternative medicine? Read more at this WIKI.

alternativemedicine.com - This resource contains alot of good reading about alternative medicine, and is a good startingpoint.

Medline Plus - This a subsection of the large web-resource which contains information about alot of health-topics.

altmedicine.com - "Alternative Health News Online"

I hope this will be to use for someone, and that there will be more links, giving us all many resources on reading about this topic.

Good reading, and have fun :D

  4. My favourite gun in CS is definetly the "Dual Elites". I love these guns because they are great in close combat, they have a large fire-ratio, and if you shoot in the exact right ratio, they hit everytime and it's easy to headshot with them. But using these guns need training; I now manage/play in a new CS-clan and I train them every week on the art of hitting the head everytime. My other favourite gun is the scout, because it is the most accurent when you shoot without scope, and you can run and take HS almost everytime. This gun too requires training, because knowing where the aim is when the scope is down is also an art.I wish you all goodluck with the art of Counter Strike :P

  5. Morphing is to make a figure/character "change into" something else in a strange and beautiful way, you have to see it to fully understand what it looks like. The Morph-effect was used alot in the TV-series "Charmed" when a man turned into a demon.

A High output could be talking about the qality of the rendering, that you could render a morph in resolutions worth a cinema-movie, or I'm totaly wrong :D .

I also understand that you don't fully thrust a third-party site, but take a look at their official site, where you can read more about the product, and see what it really is.

Read about the program, and about the Linux-plans at:

    The WinMorph offical website

I Hope this information has been helpful, and I highly recomend to take a look at the site, WinMorph can be alot of fun if you try to use it :P

    Sincerely,

    lihuyt

  6. I watch both WCG and CPL on online TV, and recordings both out- and ingame. I have just started my own CS team, and this spring we are going to start practise every week, with cal and maybe cpl as a goal. We are going to reach far, and with members like myself, who has played CS for over eight years, it is a realistic goal.I love CS because of what is can be in a social way if you use it right, and it is also a great way for me to let out my agression in a way that does not hurt any other person. Counter Strike, meditation and my girlfriend is parts of what give me balance in my life :P

It is my favourite because it is:

    - It replace windows mediaplayer, real player & quicktime

    - Simple

    - Without all the fancy stash

    - It gives you what you want, and uses minimal CPU

    - You can controll so many features and EQ's with the program

    - It is small, easy to use, and it works

If you too want to take a look at this mediaplayer, and download it for free, visit http://ww1.k-litecodecpack.com/

(btw. sorry for the long list of codecs, but K-lite delivers :D )

    Notice from jlhaslip:

Long lists such as this should be inside bbcode quote tags. Please read the - Xisto Readme - as it lists the Guidelines for proper posting here at the Xisto.

  8. Hi Norrad

I am also very interested in the Buddhism religion, and I have studied it for some years now. If you have problems with being able to meditate I know of somehing that atleast helped me on the way. I started listening to tapes of Jack Kornfield , a monk and founding teacher of he Insight Meditation Society and Spirit Rock Center who give alot of speeches about buddhism and meditation; I will highly recommend the soundbook and video "Jack Kornfield - Meditation for beginners", it will help you to understand more of how & why meditate.

Jack Kornfield's profile at Spirit Rock + upcoming events

Here you can buy all his speeches

This is a unlimited resource to learning what you want to build your inner self :P

I must also say that I respect your wish on becoming a monk, but meditation comes from within, and it is not required for you to learn meditation, but you go with what you feel.

    Good luck. :D

    Yours sincerely,

    lihuyt
