  1. I personally love the layout and the colorscheme. black and emerald green.. Awesome.I do, however, suggest you do MORE with the site, and not just keep it so plain. What kind of Web Portal is that? It vaguely reminds me of e107, or a version of PHPNuke.
  2. Oh, right on. I could've used this thread a few days when I was at a friend's house. I needed some files for a Private Diablo II server that I administrate, and they're stored at home on my computer. I was trying to get my brother to send them to me on MSN, but yeah... Didn't go so well.I'll try all of the ones mentioned above, and then give a review of each when I'm done. Thanks guys.
  3. I've always loved doing web design and I'm now thinking of going into a Web Design course at a local college (St. Lawrence) in the fall. I've made money already doing a few websites and I think it would be an awesome second income.Any suggestions on how I could go about making it a primary income, or does web design have it's ups and downs and not recommended to be a primary income?
  4. I recently bought a LG 8500, also known as the 'Chocolate'. Yeah, I gave in to what the media perceived it to be. It is a nice little phone with many cool features, such as TV, XMRadio, GPS and more... However, when browsing the internet you wil, every so often, get a "403: Forbidden" message. This will not go away until you turn off your phone and turn it back on. It's quite annoying. In total, I'd say I love the phone but I do wish they could change that annoying "Forbidden" message.
  5. DreamWeaver 8 is a decent WYSIWYG editor, however it does have it's flaws when you use a generated .html file from Photoshop. Photoshop codes everything in MANY tables, which makes editting a tad messy. DW, when you try to edit in the "Design Mode", will break the tables and everything will become a mess.I'd suggest using notepad, and save the file after every change, before uploading it, just look at it from your folder on your computer. Or have it opened already and just refresh after every save.
  6. Similar to everyone elses response, I use Photoshop and Flash for my designs, and in general. I love doing graphic design such as forum signatures, etc... And Photoshop helps me do that. For coding, I generally stick to Notepad, although I recently got DreamWeaver 8, and it's kind of cool. I don't like how it distorts tables while in "Design" mode though. Being DW's main feature, you'd think they'd make the program to not break design code while writing a sentence. In all, Photoshop and Notepad is where it's at for me!
