  1. Thats more than billions of people make, and she spent it on a painting? What is the point to a multi-million dollar painting, anyways? That would have lightened the wallet quite a bit. That is insane.
  2. I played the Clarinet, for about one year when I was in the seventh grade. I absolutley hated my music teacher, she was rude, and really disliked me. When we were making course selections, I did not know that she was going to be leaving, so I quit band, and apparently a really nice new music teacher came. Dang. I really miss playing it, and in a band, but maybe not the Clarinet, I would have loved to learned how to have played the trumpet and flute.
  3. I've never used Dell, but I have used HP, and I like it. But, I am planning on getting myself a Dell, since I have heard great things about them.
  4. I used to live in Winnipeg. Thats really awesome for Winnipeg to be hosting something big like that, because most of the time, big events are in Toronto, Vancouver or Edmonton, so it's nice publicity for such a nice city. Really awesome.
  5. Oh, thats really awesome! Good luck with it, when you are finished, I will foresure check it out. I like Fantasy RPG and Sci-Fi. But do exactally what you like, that makes it even better.
  6. Oh thats so awesome, more space is always good. But I haven't gotten used to saving posts and everything, I'm so used to hotmail, and having like 1MB and having to delete everything. So I'm maybe using, half of a MB? Heh.
  7. Another BitTornado user here. I must admit, I really don't know much about these things. My computer is so damn slow, I try to download episodes of television shows, and it takes like one week, if it works at all. But it's fun anyways.
  8. If I had my say, I would have picked Aquilonia, for basically the same reasons as Furor, because I also like things beginning in A. And it sounds very pretty, it just jumped out at me as my favorite.
  9. I love Papa Johns. I used to adore Pizza Hut. Until it gave me food poisoning (though it may have been just a flu). I haven't eaten it since, plus there is just to much grease to bear. But my all time favorite type of pizza is homemade. Nothing beats homemade.
  10. On a good day, maybe 50 to 60 words per minute. On a bad day... 15 or 20. Most of the time, they are bad days. I just can't seem to get my thoughts out and always mispell everything. I personally don't think typing speed means everything. It's the quality of the writing. I know people who are amazingly slow, but the quality is amazing.
  11. I am pretty open to most game types. My favorite types are RPG and simulation games. I am not actually sure why, but it gives you the ability to play as somebody you are not, and I guess I like that. Games like Flight Simulator, The Sims and Pokemon are things like that I am interested in.Not so much for shooting games, though. But sometimes just playing games like James Bond with some friends is enjoyable, just not one player. I just don't find too much thrill in them. I like games with strategy and skill required, having to use your brain.
  12. By far Final Fantasy 8. I have tried 6, 7, 9 and 10 also, but just coulden't get into them like I was into FF8, maybe because 8 was my first, I'm not sure.
  13. It's tied between Final Fantasy 8 and The Legend of Dragoon. I like the storyline and graphics much more in LoD, and have beaten it multiple times, but in FF8, I always get stuck at the same place, so it frustrates me. Ah.But I also love the Pokemon games.
  14. Thank you for the link to Kingdom of Loathing. Very, very cool indeed. And very addicting. I've been on for about 3 hours straight.
  15. Homestead, as in Homestead.com? If that is what you mean, A few years back, I was hosted there. The point and click thing was fun at the time, especially if you know didly-squat about HTML, which was me. I don't know about the E-comerce thing, I just had a personal webpage there. I think the $39.00 plan, which I used to pay was not worth it for the services they have. It is a little hard an unorganized, but then again, I haven't been there in a while. But that is just me. The free 30 day trial is pretty neat if you don't know if you want to spend that kind of money or not.
  16. I love Firefox. I definetly don't think even a new Netscape could beat Firefox. FF has been completly flawless for me, excellent security, organized, looks great and of course, the tabbing. I honestly didn't know that Netscape was still around anymore. This should be interesting.
  17. Most definetly Fire Fox. I had Internet Explorer up until about 3 months ago. Everytime I opened a new browser, I would be hit with pop-ups galore, it woulden't let me set my homepage to anything, and then it would freeze. I absolutley hate IE. Then I discovered Fire Fox, and it works like an angel. Not one problem, and it's very organized. I adore the little tab things and the bookmark system.
  18. I would love to get an iPod, but for one, they are pretty expensive, most likley worth it if you listen to music all of the time. I am pretty music-stupid, I don't know where I would be able to find 40GB worth of music, I could maybe find like 10 songs off of CDs or something. Maybe one day...
  19. I was born, and I lived in Canada until I was almost 18, and then came to the good old United States of America, where I live and love now.
  20. In my humble opinion, IPB. I really like the layout, it is cleaner and fits together better, I also find it to be much more customizable.
  21. I agree, don't worry too much about the money, go somewhere you like, because that is the important part. Go into a major that you enjoy, not what anybody else is in. It's all about you're life.I finished college a few years back, my major was in Psychology.
  22. I'm a 29 year old women. Wow, women are definetly in the minority here, mostly teen males.
  23. This is just unbelievably sad. I saw Bowling for Columbine last night and there were an awful amount of similarities. I can't believe this happened still, I really can't. It feels like just a few days ago it was the Columbine massacre, and now reliving that all over again. My absolute sympathy goes out to everyone involved in this, and any school shooting. Rest in Peace.

    Hello There!

Hi, my name is Erika, and I've just discovered Xisto, and god, it is awesome. Anyways, I just turned 29 and live in the best city on Earth, New York City. Unfortunetly, I'm new to the whole webhosting/design thing, but so far, I am enjoying it.
  25. I am 29, though most of the time I definetly don't feel that way, most people don't think I look that way either. I'm still asked to show ID and stuff when buying alcohol. Well it could be a good thing, I guess. I feel the same way as the rest of y'all, just can't seem to catch up with your age.
