I can't believe what a bunch of whiners you bush haters are. Every time you turn around, the word impeachment is drooling out the left side of your mouth. Why don't you try looking for real solutions to the world's problems instead of who to pin the blame on. Oh yeah. I guess it'll be now about how the "vast right-wing conspiracy" tried to take down President Clinton. Maybe they were wrong too. Do you have any comprehension of what kind of damage a full presidential impeachment will do to this country? President Clinton wasn't thrown out, so we haven't seen the injury it can do to America. I guess if you are Osama's buddy, hurting the US is a good idea. It might be just enough to knock it off kilter so that the anarchists, fascists, communists and extremist muslims will have the chance to take down the system and fight over who gets to play with the broken pieces. If you look at history, it might just frighten you to realize how close a country can be to the edge of destruction and still be healthy and strong. It doesn't take nuclear weapons to destroy a nation, more than anything it has been political infighting. And just because our nation has been going strong for over two hundred, doesn't mean it'll be here next year. Oh I forgot. A lot of you would like that to happen. In which case you would no longer have the right to be critical of the administration, because you would be saluting the new american dictatorship. And I love you people who think it's funny to compare President Bush to Adolf Hitler. I dare you to go to Auschwitz and tell that to the fields of tilled human bones. Love you all! As with anything that has to be kept secret, conspiracy theories arise. Research your history if you wonder why the US might consider faking a moon landing. The US lived in daily fear that the USSR would find a way to get their nukes past our watch dogs, wipe all of us out, wait 50 years, move in and own US soil. Once you understand that historical background, then you have a stage for setting up a big lie. But that doesn't mean it was fake. With the espionage that was taking place (and we have since proven that there really were sleeper cells of USSR agents, and have since caught a various level of turncoat US agents who were sending info to USSR) it would be amazing if the US could actually get away with faking it. It seems to me, it boils down to this. The US put men on the moon. They didn't want to explain how in too much detail, because of espionage. So they lied about a few things, stage a few things, etc., in order to cover up some of the facts of the real mission, to prevent the USSR from duplicating their work. It's like Coke. They don't want anyone to know what the ingredients are in their drink. So they engage in cover up, etc, to protect it, because there are corporate spies who are trying every day to find out the ingredients so they can start producing it in China and undercut Coca Cola's sales. Doesn't mean Coke doesn't produce a soft drink called Coca Cola, just because some parts are secret, right?

This is one of my other points, that with this subject, like in the question of gender id, you better not even ask about it, because it's not "socially acceptable". biscuitrat, what makes you feel that creationists don't believe in Pangaea? Most believe that there is biblical support for that theory. Yes, perhaps a different timescale. Did you know that the majority of scientists agree in a global "noachic flood" (named after noah and the ark) that occurred on Mars? Mars has zero visible water (except in icecaps) yet could have a global flood? Yet the earth which is 75% water could not. How's this relate to Creation? You mentioned Pangaea, and most creationists theorize catastrophic tectonic forces broke it up during the flood period. As for whether or not one must have either a science or religion viewpoint, that's a rather tired argument don't you think? It doesn't address the facts. evolutionaty "Scientists" and creation "scientists" have and believe in the same set of facts and evidence. It drops down to a matter of interpretation. I believe there is a scientific method known as radiocarbon dating. Does it mean that scientists cannot misinterpret their data? Did you even know that organic material dated using carbon 14 methods, also known as radiometric dating or radioisotope dating is not effective for anything over 50,000 years old? After 50,000 years, according to radioactive theory, all C14 should have decayed out of any organic samples, yet if tested the organic materials inquestion reveal the presence of C14. It's considered unreliable, because the bacteria, etc, must be contaminating it in order to produce the C14. So the methods scientists have to use are to "date" the rocks which encase, or cover etc, the organic material in question. Wouldn't you think that dating methods used on things of known ages would be reliable? When "new" rock from volcanic activity is dated, often the date that is revealed is older than the bedrock underneath it! How does this happen? Oh, and yes, creationists do believe in dinosaurs (you asked how they are accounted for). Creationists believe in extinction of creatures just like anyone else. Again it is interpretation of evidence. And in case you missed my whole point by getting angry at all that I have written above, I believe that we cannot definitively know Creation's cause, date, etc., simply because while often times both of our methods of determination are more than sheer speculation, and may follow the scientific method, they might be wrong! The point is, it comes down to who you want to believe. And it doesn't matter who you believe in the end, because it doesn't change truth. I've been trying all day to believe that my bank account has 4.6 billion dollars in my checking, but it's not there! In the end, if we are wrong about God's existence it will only matter if He does in fact truly exist! I don't want to face God and try to explain to him why I believe in evolution is true if it isn't, or that He isn't real if He is. Does that make sense?

It's amazing to me the lack of evidence that some people require to found beliefs upon for either nature or nurture concepts. Do you ever notice that? Scientists often say that homosexuality is a "nature" rather than something nurtured. Why do they say this? Because it's the prevailing wisdom of the day. It's not politically correct to suggest otherwise. I'm not saying anything either way, just observing. Whenever they do point out something, it's correllations, rather than a causal gene, etc. And yet everybody "knows" that homosexuality is something you are born with. They used to have the same prevailing wisdom about gender. Forget the fact that gender is determined on a genetic level. Chromosones & DNA. And still they try to disprove the differences. It seems that if we are different in gender, then somehow automatically one is inferior than the other, so we then can't say genders are actually different. Thank God for women, and thank God for men! Where would we be without either of them?

I don't dream very often lately, but I have had some very strange, and lucid dreams. In states of exhaustion, depression or dehydration I see the largest occurrance of lucidity. Mostly sleeping with my eyes open and trying to make sense of what I see in my dreams. For instance, once I was in the car with my hat pulled down over my eyes and I fell asleep. I could see the dashboard through one eye. In my dream I could see everything in the dream in my left eye, but my right eye was "stuck" with the picture of my dashboard. I was afraid I was losing my vision and told my mother what was happening (still dreaming here). Then I realized that I was sleeping, and so I memorized the odometer reading in my dream. When I finally awoke, I checked the odometer, and I was exactly right. Isn't that funky!?! Another time I was sleeping in the library at school and could see my arms folded across my chest. When I tried to move them, I couldn't. Later, I learned from my Bio prof that in sleep our bodies do go into a semi-parylytic state to protect us from dream-thrashing and hurting ourselves. Which explains why I could not move my arms!Bizarre?!?

has anyone here ever used the paypal module to develop ecommerce sites in jooomla. Do you have to pay someone to get the paypal service, or is it free. Or do they take a percent of your sales?

Does anyone use joomla? It's the coolest thing in the world. I can't believe how easy and simple it is. I wonder if I should go into business as a website developer. Amazing technology. I have been using it for about 4 months now, and I have pretty well mastered enough to have a quality site up and running in a week and a half. Only took that long because I had to research and test various modules, components and bots to determine what would work for me.

I love how you bash religion immediately. As if because someone believes in God they must be nuts right off the bat. Doesn't really matter what you believe about God, Creation, or anything else for that matter if when it comes down to facing destiny you realize you've been wrong about it all. What if there is absolute truth? Part of faith is believing in the face of uncertainty. Just like bravery isn't a lack of fear, but facing it. So you yourself have a religion of sorts. You believe in something you cannot KNOW. You cannot know, because despite all interpretations of evidence, we cannot know if GOD created the universe just as we cannot know random chance produced it. So you take your faith in random chance and the interpretations of evidence (Dogma and Doctrine) you've been given by certain scientists (your Priests, and you have the Religion of evolution (your church). I admire your faith! I don't admire the object of your faith however. Because if you're right, you won't have to face your god or any other in any type of after-life. But if you're wrong, you just may have to face my God and wonder why He isn't your God! "Seek the truth, not ideas" ~ Veritas *person* Oh, and lest you think that I intended "flaming your idea" please realize that my comments are in no way critical of the underlying science and concepts you've promoted here. Can't all of this be happening more or less, and God be in absolute control of it all? Since there are billions of people in the world who do believe in a god of some sorts, that means being religious is actually normal. Just please don't "flame" what I believe? I am very interested in scientific theory. It can be very tiring to see and hear people discount the validity of anyone's argument who speaks the word "god" in less than condescending tones. It is important to see and hear more than one side of scientific arguments. Please consider examining some of the scientific articles you can find archived at https://answersingenesis.org/. Even if you disregard some of the "fluff" of the site, check out some of their concepts of black holes, light travel, etc., and see what you think. If you are looking for a good book to read, you should try Michael Crichton's State of Fear Awesome read. I read all 600+ pages in about 5 - 1hour sessions. Sorry I don't know your book. I know how frustrating it is to look and look without knowing title or author. I recently finally found a book that I had been looking for since a child, and didn't have the money to buy it. Dangit!

I work for a non-profit business which develops and implements technical solutions for non-profit, religious and educational groups, using largely Open Source products and concepts. One of the solutions we have provided is website development, and i am interested to know how well trap 17 functions in regard to their ability to provide hosting for groups such as the ones I service. Of course, I don't know how well it would work if it is required for the hostee to maintain credits through the forums. Feedback anyone?Also, I use entirely Joomla installs how well do they function on Xisto?
